Will be an interesting watch.  Was a prolific scorer at Liverpool U16's in the last year or two (he is a forward for those unaware).  Has already made his debut for Sunderland u18's.

A few transfers that have happened recently. Rostyn Griffiths and Jordan O'Doherty have dropped into the NPL having signed for Balcatta Etna and Modbury Jets respectively. Tomi Juric has ended up in India having signed for NorthEast United. He scored 5 goals in 4 games before getting injured. Lastly, Dylan Fox has joined Lahti in Finland where Luke Ivanovic now plays.

Rostyn Griffiths has had a nice career, 3 premierships, plus a couple of nice pay days.
Hope he enjoys his end of career in the NPL.

Am I reading correctly Nisbet is out of contract so he could go to Europe on a free? Surely the typical European leagues that scout the A League would be very interested

Yep.

I’m hoping he joins Monty.

I'd be totally fine with that. Edinburgh clubs are progressively playing better football. Good springboard to England. Continent still shys away from anything below the big 2 if you're Anglo. Under Monty would be a great start.

Whispers of City after Trewin. Some saying he's good for Europe already. I think Denmark or Switzerland would be fine for him but 2 solid seasons at City sets him up for a higher jump. He'll be 23 in May. Crazy where the time has gone with him whereas others are still younger than I thought.

Thomas Waddingham (2005) in talks with Tottenham Hotspurs

Musa Toure (2005) in talks with unknown Ligue 1 club.

That's nice but Grazor's thread does make one ponder, hope and dread. Did Ange get some old Roar venom and say he wants to develop this kid? I personally would like to see it to hopefully then have a successful full League 2 season. Switzerland or Denmark loan next and then who knows?

Bayern Munich also interested in Waddingham. They love the Aussie talent it seems, 5th player they've been looking at or signed in the past year.

Yeah surely league 1 or 2 at the highest. Probably better loaning him back to the a league. He has a chance of making the epl at his peak but game time now is presumably quite important

Spend a season in the U21's, then loan out to a League 1 or League 2 club, preferably League 1. Work your way up, similar to Alex Robertson. I think similar to last off-season, we are going to see a lot of youth leave for Europe. Some will surprisingly work like Yengi and some will struggle like Kuol.

Very obvious that both Musa and Waddingham are no where near ready for first team top European league football but it's an interesting risk and can help propel you for future years. With them, I believe Jovanovic and Yull may make the move, especially Yull. With this, most of our 2005 U20 cohort will be over in Europe.

Giuseppe Bovalina (2004) has signed for MLS side Vancouver Whitecaps for an undisclosed fee.

Bit random but I expect Adelaide and the broader league are going to have a mass exodus of young players this off-season.

Monza would be cool. Might have two Aussies in the next few years with Treffiletti.

Interesting Everton being interested in Circati, Robertson and now Volpato. I also like him leaving the Italian system too.

If Volpato left the Italian system he'd be a safe bet to choose Australia you'd think.

Yeah I just think the Italian system has a stranglehold on our players. They don't want them to travel.

If mods can rename this to July 2024 we can keep it going.

Names off the top of my head:

Souttar and I thought last night a loan to Derby would be excellent. Stoke fans are wondering about a loan return. Go on Jackson, tell St Pauli about him!

McGree: Whispers he wanted to break ranks. I think Brentford would be a great fit.

Robertson: Such a crucial time to get another good loan move. Championship or weekly games on the continent.

Ryan: Apparently going to be moved on from AZ. A free transfer. Absolute bargain. Championship would be good for maintaining sharpness.

Glover: Linked to a few teams but I don't think he's going to play.

Gauci: I'D rather he secures an immediate loan that he comes into a club for their summer camp ready to start.

G Kuol: The article mentioning the manager who signed him isn't at Newcastle shows he's likely out the door. I suspect Newcastle will just sell. However, if he stays on their books,  a season long loan to Carlisle wouldn't go astray to keep him playing and playing.

Hrustic: His loan will end and I have a feeling Heracles might not have the funds to fork out. Transfermarkt is accurate of fees yet valuations are often a bit out there. That's so cheap Hellas Verona only paid 500k for him. You've got to consider the position he was in when he left.

Lots of other interesting questions. Are part of the SPL crew to take the next step up? (Rowles, Baccus) While whispers that Devlin could be leaving Hearts opens up The EFL and A League.

Degenek could be a handy coup for the A League. Maybe Sainsbury as well.

Genreau is surely one who has to get a move this summer.

AMB, JRB and Bilokapic maybe end up as surplus to requirements. JRB has simply been injured.

Might clubs be looking to buy Bos before he goes up even more in value?

Italiano surely has to break ranks at Gladbach for first tea football.

Boro have plenty of scorers that I think they won't be overly bothered by a McGree departure. It's vital a move get sorted early if it is to happen. Those niggly injuries may put some clubs off.

With fitness and form I think Brentford would be a great place to play. I hate it when he's on fire how there are calls for a higher level but he keeps getting knocked.

I've got Bundesliga Konferenz on now and there are just plenty of players who aren't better. I wish he'd at least get a shot.

When fully fit he's a top 5 league player albeit maybe lower prem... the boro fans rate him but he see him as a streaky/inconsistent player who keeps getting niggly injuries.

Ok let's do that.

A guy who started several games for mourinho at Roma aged 18, who was bought by a mid table serie a side for 10mil euro, is fielding offers from an epl club, serie a club and La Lisa club, who has Totti as his agent and is an Italian under 21 international is going to end up back in the A league 👍

You've misread my post. I meant if Volpato leaves the Serie A (for e.g., to the EPL) he's likely to choose to represent Australia over Italy internationally.
