I can’t see any mention of Irankunda’s omission from the Olyroos squad as being part of the performance review by Football Australia.
I presume it is the story’s author’s opinion that the Australia would have made the Olympics if Irankunda had played.
Poor journalism in my opinion.

There are few things further apart than FTBL and journalism. True but I felt the need to make the point especially for all those who were howling for his inclusion. Point is decisions were made not to include him, for whatever reason (and there’s been a lot of speculation), so the story is just clickbait.
