+x+xHe’s got time, at the end of the day it’s he’s choice where he wants to play for internationally. Wish him well, the Skoko name has given me nostalgia from 2006 a great player for the Roos whom i remember he scored that banger against Greece before the World Cup. Yep & then never played a minute in WC 2006, very interesting that Guus never played him. Hiddink not using him was one of the strangest things of that World Cup, they could have used him when we played against eventual world champions Italy but it wasn’t to be.

+xGuys.. put yourselves in the Skoko's shoes. They moved to Croatia and hes still a junior so him playong for Croatian underage teams is easier re travel and most importantly puts him in view of clubs there which helps his club career. If he plays for the australian under age teams he'll get less exposure there in Croatia. Makes perfect sense that hes chosen this path so far, but wouldnt mind betting once he establishes himself, he'll play for Australia. He's also been in Aus camps/teams hasn't he?

It’s not like he’s been with Hadjuk since u12. His father played for Australia. His heart probably lies with Australia tbh patriotic people, playing for a good club, travel is easy, they are an incredible national side...not an easy choice
