Souttar and Boyle would have looked outstanding in this bog average Scottish team.I would love to see them do well but Switzerland and Hungary are no pushovers.
Roy Keane pointed out that this team needed to be more aggressive and not let the Germans have so much room.Hopefully after that hard lesson they will give a better account of themselves in the next two matches.

I’ll eagerly wait for their next match for better judgement but you know it’s a good sign for Germany when they start a tournament with a big win.
I agree Scotland were poor and offered little in attack but Germany were very good and will ease some pressure as the host nation.

An absolute coup for Australia. Boyle wouldn't have looked out of place last night.

And when was the last time big Harry got a game for Leicester ?

australia might throw the t20 match against scotland today if they need a pick me up
wonder if scottish media is as weird as ours. Any talk of a panel of former scottish captains to grill the coach and fire them?

You're on here enough to know Souttar was under a wanker of a manager. You're a Rangers fan, aren't you? I wonder if their players would make Scotland any stronger?

The vast majority or fans and media are mad at the Scotland coach's selections.
Keane blasted Robertson's post game interview about his they came out with a plan. Germany were in first gear excellence. In hindsight Scotland should've played a 433 with pacey wingers and a stronger man up top.
In slight defence, Dykes is out as are the two very good right backs. Lots saying John Souttar would've fared better. You can't find much on twitter about Harry because Rangers fans basically live on Twitter talking about John.

For example Scotland’s joint top scorer in 25 years of international tournament football plays for Real Madrid - Rudiger 😂😂😳

UK Football TV has been stuffed up with the next gen of pundits filling quotas across a range of categories with poor football knowledge reading off teleprompters and then the bunch of dinosaurs who've not been ousted unlike the competent and understandably more expensive bunch.

Enjoy listening to Schwarzer and Phil Kitromilides. The latter has grown on me. A likeable, balanced, competent pundit with insight across a range of football matters. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bBcJpYFMEDUDidn't realise Baumjohann had hung around in Australia.

Sometimes you just find yourself in shit circumstances.

56/1 for 3 draws today. Can't split Croatia and Spain really and I feel a goalless draw beckons. Italy may start slow today against a dogged Albania. Switzerland Hungary on in 40. Good starting sides for each. London born Kwadwo Duah starting for Switzerland having made his international debut just 9 days ago. At Ludogorets in Bulgaria with a decent goal tally.

His brother John is far better than Porteous, McKenna, Hendry or Hanley, so yes, John would and probably Ryan Jack if he kept fit.

What's changed since Scotland's qualifications? Just the inevitable end of a form run? We'll know more once they play the other 2 teams.

Many comment on here about Mat Ryan's lack of height, but Yann Sommer, the Swiss keeper, looks to be no taller than Ryan, maybe even shorter.

To stop picking on scotland, hungary have over 9000 big 5 minutes in their starting xi today and look very poor. Is it easier to make it at club level if u are european? Or do australia just do better playing as a team to compensate for our quality?
