Shame to see Rudan  leave from  the perspective of coaching a team to play pretty good  football, with a very young team. Some young Aussies have made great strides under his tutelage - Brook, Milanovic, Priestman, Simmons. Who have I missed?

On the other hand,  some of his behaviour on the sidelines as a coach, in terms of abusing refs, has been absolutely disgraceful.

There was also a weird incident in the media years ago, where he had paid a private investigator to follow Mel McLaughlin, TV host and reporter, who he was infatuated with. That is seriously weird stalking.

I really don't think they should bring Popa back, but wouldn't be surprised if they did.
Would be interesting to see if Montgomery would take the gig. Would definitely rub the Mariners fans the wrong way. That being said, I wouldn't complain if he ended up at MV.
My money would be on Kisnorbo. Not a bad option. I reckon he would be tested more at WSW than he was at MC, but no reason he couldn't succeed there.
As for Rudan, he definitely seems like the type of bloke who would say he's leaving for personal reasons and then 2 months later signs on at the new Canberra side.
