+x+xSpeaking of transfers. https://aleagues.com.au/news/jake-girdwood-reich-transfer-details-confirmed-latest-st-louis-city-mls-sydney-fc-fee-a-league-news/Sydney FC have announced the departure of academy graduate Jake Girdwood-Reich, who is heading to MLS side St Louis City for a club record transfer fee.
The versatile midfielder and defender, who celebrated his 20th birthday last week, is jetting off to the US to embark on a new chapter in his career after breaking onto the scene in this season’s Isuzu UTE A-League campaign as the Sky Blues reached the Semi Finals.
Girdwood-Reich joined Sydney’s academy at age 12; his departure will net the club a seven–figure fee, making him the club’s first million-dollar-plus transfer. is he good? Honestly never heard of him Over a million dollars good apparently. I honestly don't know. Still it's money in the bank for Sydney.

It will certainly help our players get more overseas moves to the UK that's for sure.

One player from the Mariners (and not even in their top XI)?
Not sure if serious...

+xI'm excited about this change. More potential transfer $$$s = more incentive to develop players = better Australian football and hopefully an offset to reduced tv money. correct hence why I mentioned the Band 5 rating.

+xGreat read. The names discussed were interesting. Not necessarily the first players I thought of. Yeah differemt scouting algorithms seem to produce slightly different results Trewin, irankunda and holman look great no matter the algorithm

Very decent read. Makes me think that the current A-league would have been a heavily scouted league in my past life as a Football Manager addict...the good old years.
