No idea what Baker was doing in the points race. Finished top 3 in first 3 different types of races and points race is heaps of laps with 20 points for lapping the field and many sprint race points. She ranked 20th of 23 with 0 points for the round. She either had nothing left, was injured or got wedged with a strategy that was terrible. 

Damn Japan got a gold in wrestling. Australia silver and bronze in men's kieren. Silver probably nailed on in women's omnium but he final points race can go all directions. This will be the Australian team's final act of the games. 

Opals win bronze. Ran the clock down, just.... Belgium had the ball after an out with a shortened shot clock and I don't think it occurred to them and the time ran out. 

Opals in a thriller for bronze. Lead by 4 with 1:17 to go. Free throws for Australia now. Make that lead 6! Just got to work that clock. Belgium hot a 3 pointer 1:05 now.

Would say 3rd is still highly likely. It's not 'total medals' that is the tie breaker, it's most Silvers. As of writing, we are 6 ahead of Japan.


Took me a while to find what you meant re: breakdancing being a protest.
The protest was actually in her "PE Teacher" uniform - She wanted to wear what every other athlete in other sports would wear, in attempt to legitimise the sport.

Shame 4th wouldve been imsane. Womens rugby our biggest miss but we also won tennis which no one expected

Likely. Japan should win 1 if not 2 of those bouts. Australia a decent chance in cycling but probably a silver. Japan have someone in the front group in marathon with 7km left but surely not.

apparently the weird breakdancing was a protest - that bring breakdancing into the olympics would make it mainstream which would be racist (cultural appropriation I'm guessing)
