Haha I got rid of Optus actually. If he goes to a "bigger" club that's great and I'll support him but it's still romantic to see him win something with a club like spurs

Mate how can you not view EPL regularly ? putting aside the bucks I just don't get people not admiring so so many class players and not so classy on the go showing their ability grit and passion, awesum old Clubs (despite the ogarlords) that have inspired so so many here and around the globe.

The EPL just doesn't have the same magic as it did in the 2000s for me. The squads are stacked these days but in the 2000s you had average players making the bench for top clubs but now everything has to be 100% and the gap has kind of gone to far from the championship like how Ipswich will go this year is beyond me. I just miss the players like Gerrard is Liverpool, lampard is Chelsea united is scholes now they all transfer around. I dunno maybe it's cause I'm older I'll always follow it though 

? Mate are you saying that Gerrard, Lampard and Scholes were average players???? I think youve lost me there...  Or are you sticking to the romanticism of boyhood fan joins dream club? If so, Lampard was West Ham through and through as is/was his father before him??

MSC, I think he means he luved SG the true scouse, correct Frankie was Hammers through and through but went for the chelski $$$'s and for titles whereas his Dad would never have done so (true ol skool) - I'd say MCG was a young tacker influenced of the unitied winnings times hence scholsey and class of 92 and SG influence of the times.

There is many on bench's who are not top liners in many of the Clubs.

Every team has their core who don't go here there at all otherwise how does any team retain consistancy.
The divide of the top 10 has always been there even in the ol days, promoted clubs either sink or survive like Brighton, whats changed.
Whats changed more so due to the money is bad management gets exploited far quicker, hence looking at it like its all too much.
NForest, gets up and buys like 10+ new players, how can you ever blend new players thrown into the lions den to survive in one season.
Thats error in management and they just survived on top of cooking the books.

How many in the APL are 1 club players today, few.

Players are just part of the club, the CLUB is the most important thing...

I see players like the toppings on a pizza... The  good ones stick around and are used in EVERY version like the sauce and the cheese, while the salami, olives, chilli, anchovies come and go..  One season you have Capricciosa, the other Mexicana... but the are ALWAYS on a a yummy pizza base :)

Yeah good points. I'll follow the EPL for sure but I'll probably be watching championship more and talking with the lads in the AA thread really just want to see Australians succeeding 👍

As much as I luv watching EPL/LaLiga/SerieA do you not think I keep an eye on other games ?
Especially re our own - I have close freinds with Clubs in the Championship and other leagues depending their blood, I watch specific games of many leagues of interest.
I like covering alot due to my passion of the game, I wish our blokes to keep improving, get their name up in lights, get a headline, show what they can do.
Do you not think any of us so called eurosnobs think Aussie first and foremost ?
I care just as much as you do believe me as would everyone in here in different ways.
