Interesting to read all the Ross Aloisi hate from years back. He's by far the most insightful people in terms of football analysis and breakdown that fox has had. Yes he doesn't have the personality for TV, but anyone who loves football (particularly the tactical and analysing side) should be interested in what he has to say. Basically, he ought to be a panelist.

I used to hate him but as he's calmed down behind the mic, I've learnt to enjoy what he has to say. Definately one of the most knowledgeable fellas in Australian football and has a passion for the games history. I really want to see him write more on earlier post-war footballs history.

See, I get that he is knowledgeable, but that nasal, high pitched voice in conjunction with the ludicrous shit like "a spawning salmon" and his use of some high level post grad vocab that just doesn't fit football is just not what a commentator should be saying imo.
