+xI'm curious on the here how many people follow a league, npl or just socceroos. Should we do a poll? A-League, Socceroos and Matilda's. I'll try to catch other leagues where there's an Aus connection or if i'm catching up with mates.

It must be an exclusively Australian thing, that you all want to shut down leagues until you get what you want. Nowhere else on the planet do football supporters talk this way. No wonder the game is the way it is, in this country.

I now only follow the Socceroos and Leeds. I want the NPL clubs to get off the canvas and make something but there's too much in the way for that to happen. I was a fan of the A-League but now would rather like to see it die with something stuck in its arse.

+xI'm curious on the here how many people follow a league, npl or just socceroos. Should we do a poll? Should do a poll to decide if you should've done a poll. For me Equal #1 - A-League & Socceroos #2 NPL and down State League

At the moment, I don't really follow much club football other than those I have an affinity with:
* NPL - Yoogali in Canberra (due to being the only Griffith representation in the NPL) * Grassroots - Hanwood (currently playing in Wagga competitions for Open Age, and Griffith for youth) - my original club, plus my nephew finally joined the dark (blue) side. * A-League - will watch the final usually, but mostly just follow the Australia Cup to be honest * All Socceroos + Matildas stuff essentially.

+x+xI'm curious on the here how many people follow a league, npl or just socceroos. Should we do a poll? A-Leagues, NPLs, State Leagues, some amateurs, Socceroos, Matildas and only a little of the juniors. But I'm spread thinly, more a jack of trades master of none. I just want to see this sport in Australia reach it's potential at all levels. We're absolutely nowhere near it. I think there was a plausable argument 20 years ago that the reason why we weren't reaching our potential was because aussies don't care about football. So if we just make world cups and get big crowds in the domestic league we will go from strength to strength and produce a bunch of epl stars. It was a nice theory and sounded pretty plausible 20 years ago, after all aussies tend to do well at a lot of sports they care about, even if it is international like cricket or swimming. Now I realize that theory was hopelessly wrong i don't care about a league crowds any more and roll my eyes at signings like costa, would probably even roll my eyes if we got another del piero despite my avatar. I mostly want to see young players get a go in the a league and do well as well as work towards a pyramid (nst asap!) and better pathways (a league expansion, ais and nyl asap!)

Yep football first. I do feel very passionate about the Socceroos, hence why so disappointed this week, Sydney FC of course, my local amateur club, Manly Vale. Follow some teams O/S but with no passion as I don't really belong there, but follow players, Salah, De Bruyne in EPL, Ange of course, Vini jr, Lamal & Mbappe in Spain & of course more importantly all the O/S Aussie players.

Dont follow any league. I like football in general, but even here in Aus, for example in a-league I would not watch a game not involving MV generally
Aus cup I like watching

+xI just want to see this sport in Australia reach its potential at all levels. We're absolutely nowhere near it. Veering a bit OT, but this lies at the heart of the game’s issues here bc we all have different ideas of what that entails/how to achieve it. But we indeed are absolutely nowhere near it in any case. To answer the question I do go out of my way to take an interest in all facets of football in Australia, but as I’ve mentioned in other threads I’m not a fan of how the womens’ game/Tillies specifically has dovetailed into FFA’s whole BS “mainstreaming the game” agenda. But FWIW, I’m not one of those who hates ‘em for “being woke”..

+xI'm curious on the here how many people follow a league, npl or just socceroos. Should we do a poll? A-League, Socceroos, Junior National Teams and AFL (bombers).... when 1 depresses me, I focus on another. Fair to say there's been lot of shifting of focus in the past few years.

Euro football as MSC mentions luv it despite being 17000klms away. ROOS forever Matildas. Dream is reach our potential or at least grow double will do but I've been dreaming for a looonnnnng time !
Love Football

Dont follow a particular league, just one club every week, home and away.
National team(s) and international clubs on the telly, or in person on the very odd occasion.
