Mate you are a bit of an enigma to me..... You start thread after thread bemoaning "the suits" and money is ruining football and here you are promoting gambling on the outcome of matches? What do you do when you've tipped to top of the table club against your own fellas and you are winning? Cheer against your own boys?

Sincerely not having a go at you because you come across as a great guy, I just can't relate is all.... maybe Im just a dinosaur. 

Well I agree football is really screwed up but I follow the a league and enjoy it for what it is.

I used to do afl tipping (don't yell at me) I find it fun I don't consider it gambling because it's a one off payment and just a chance for all the people to connect who enjoy doing it that's me I don't think I'm better then anyone else I just enjoy what I enjoy.

Im sorry, I dont want you to think Im "yelling at you"  I tried AFL tipping once years ago and, despite not really caring about the fortunes of my AFL team (Tiges) or following the games I finished first and won $3000 hahahahah It was an angst filled and a horrible experience for me though (despite the cashola obvs)  tipping against my "club" just rubbed me the wrong way even when it was the logical thing to do.... 

Yeah it's definitely an Australian thing the tipping the yanks love their fantasy football

Why does tipping need to have wagers ?
Whats wrong with tips per week without $$'s involved.
I don't get it because yes I don't gamble, I'd sooner eat and drink my hard earned and win a tipping comp just by picking who's gonna win per week and let the results rank me on the ladder with the many involved.

I mean it's gambling in the same way getting a lotto ticket is I don't think people should be doing it weekly just a once off. Someone organized Australia cup tipping a few years ago that was heaps of fun
