They slipped this in late on a Friday the sons of bitches didnt they... Any restriction on player ages or nationalities in the shit plastic pretend garbage clubs??? How do they expect an Australian cup to EVER be a worthwhile endeavour..... God I hope the gimps come to Lakeside on Sunday Goalkeepers who are not classified as an Australian Player will not be permitted on an NPL First Team Player Roster. A minimum of five (5) youth players (23 years of age and under) are required on the Match Day Team Sheet, of which at least two (2) must be 20 years of age and under.

PPS was a nightmare in NSW. I've had experience with it over the last two years and there was a lot of back and forth with Football NSW. I'd submit the points and get back incorrect numbers because the person doing it would not accurately check the number of years certain players played for the club.

Jesus Christ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *Goalkeepers who are not Australian Players but who have pre-existing professional contracts with an NPL Club in place prior to 19 September 2024 for the 2025 season will be permitted to be listed on the NPL First Team Player Roster in 2025. Where this is applicable, the team will be required to nominate one (1) less outfield Visa Player.

Something along those lines. 5 "youth" players need to be in matchday squad of 16? Stupid. Players get handed a spot without earning it. This is just totally idiotic. Is this another Ernie Merrick master-stroke. ? Has he ever been involved at NPL level. ?

To me, PPS was actually better than this (overall).
Visa players should be the same as A-League
So should Youth (if it must exist)
A-League has an overall salary cap, and NPL has no promotion, so... consider that evened out.
Not being able to have a foreign GK is a just a bit stupid as well...
