So does my Rorscach one. "Rabble, Rabble, Rabble, Rabble....."
He was a man of specific quirks. He believed that all meals should be earned through physical effort. He also contended, zealously like a drunk with a political point, that the third dimension would not be possible if it werent for the existence of water.

May as well put it in here,
Why do things keep going missing or appearing in my sig? A couple of times the SFC bar has gone and my arshavin sig went one day, now overnight, an old sig i used popped in there too.

:-S It can't exactly tell you the size of the original image since that's not what's being displayed.

Well, you could have just right mouse clicked and gone to properties when he had the bigger file up and had a look at the file size and that would have answered yout question boopsy.

Imno had an 88kb sig but it got reduced to whatever the board allows. It lost quality so I resized it for him. I limited it to 30kbs though but maybe I could have reduced it to 50kbs. I want to know what the forum resizer reduces them too. The board maximum.

Quote:A 32 bit image at 400x150 resolution will be 234KB, so I doubt you'd be able to get an image in that's significantly larger than that. But even if you did go for a bigger file size, compression would result in deterioration of quality anyway.

Well file size is going to be limited by the resolution. Since oversize images are automatically resized, there would be a maximum file size in that sense. ie. resolution is the limiting factor.
I'd say file size isn't anywhere near as much of a concern as resolution.
A 32 bit image at 400x150 resolution will be 234KB, so I doubt you'd be able to get an image in that's significantly larger than that.

What are the actual size limits FFT? As in K?

I can guess a chick's bra-size no worries, but working out how many pixels in a signature renderes me stuffed #-o

Afro's is wrong because the restrictions are 400x150. So he goes outside the 400 pixel width. Its not the area its the perimeter.

Why not?? It's not like it's interfering with anything the further it goes horizontally. It's the vertical that's the problem.
