Hardly a pressing issue but I would love to see Glory update their badge for next season. The current crest is super boring and relatively meaningless. Would do well to incorporate a West Australian feel to it too, as well as a reference to our history. Maybe a black swan and an Est.1996?

Did anyone catch the 'interview' with Kenny Lowe on the Daily Football show. Ive never heard the Panelists so .. intimidated and lost for words.
As for Rhys Williams, Im not sure he is even needed anymore. Id keep Dino for his height. Id keep Grant and Lowry where they are.
Im not sure on De Silva. Reimers has kinda taken his role.
Is Covic likely to want to play on?

I can't imagine Williams wanting to play as a Utility. He would want to be a focal piece at this level in order to put himself back in the shop window. Slide Lowry to leftback and have him play CB. The only other scenario I can see is that Risdon is all but gone and he takes his place.

Baring in mind that we will probably release Djulbic and Zadkovic at the end of this season, as both would be expensive and no longer first teamers. I'd let Zadkovic go. Djulbic should be resigned as Glory need at least three dedicated CBs. I'd only see Glory chasing Rhys Williams and/or Herd if Risdon is sold OS and maybe a LB, even though Warren has made plenty of RWs his bitch this season. Can't see where else to strengthen the squad. Just some of the dead wood would need to be let go. Yep. Even though Zads is a perfect Kenny player. He's made about 400k off us in two seasons and hardly played an game. State league time for him I reckon. I'd like Rhys in as we can't keep Dino, he'd just be too expensive, and he'll want to play every game. Better off signing Rhys and using him as a utility, and picking up another cheap defender as further back up. Keep Warren.

Will Dino leave? If he does Rhys would be a good signing if he's fit. If we get into ACL he could go into midfield as well. I want to see another AM. If Roda don't play DeSilva like they said they won't, take him back just for a year to help with game time. We need an other AM to either improve on Marinkovic or provide depth if we lose Castro to injury...(or he hasn't even re-signed yet???).

Unless we sign someone really decent. And agree regarding rhys. Sign him if the risdon extension is only to get money from a transfer.

Because he... knew that the only way Keogh would get him the ball was the in the air pass. if Keogh has passed that at knee height or along the ground Malik was in position to block in out. The quick flick across was the only way Castro could get it. I bet it felt like an eternity waiting for it to come down for Castro.

Last year it was at the start of June, I imagine it would be the same this year, I am trying my hard to push the company for a corporate box but losing the battle. So I will be keeping a close eye and have already emailed glory but got a very vague generic reply.

That's 14 (now 21) more points for 33 (now 40) come end of the regular season.
Need to pump CCM and get to the magic 34. City, Victory and Sydney all have tricky games against top 6 teams. City have AU x 2, Roar and Glory Victory have Roar x 2, WSW Sydney Roar, AU and Glory Looking forward I can see the end table similar to this: 4 City 42 +17 5 Victory 41 +9 6 Glory 40 +6 7 Sydney 38 +3 Most likely looks like playing the Roar away. Yay. If they can get a win over City at home they will be playing them in Melbourne finishing above Victory. Although a Melbourne Derby in the finals would be sweet. Edited by hotrod: 8/3/2016 07:47:53 PM Glad I was proven wrong, boy, how wrong. Could end up as high as 3rd or as low as 6th. What a difference after being last after round 9.

Id just like to say how great the Atmosphere was in the Stadium on Sunday Afternoon. I think I looked around about 5 minutes into the game and the new stand looked full (although less fool on the tv). The area in front of the Shed was also quite full (I actually thought there was more than 14k there).
However one thing that is irking me is how there was no Radiocast of the game. It seems as soon as the AFL season starts, the ABC drops the A League like a hot potato and quickly gets into bed with the AFL/NRL. Grandstand had gone into hibernation with its pre-recorded 2000's themed Sport Specials. The game had over 14K games, 2 of the best attacking teams in the comp, Bruno and Diego firing, Mooy, Keogh looking to set a record and we get NO radio coverage. (I dont know if Sport FM were covering this). If the ABC are going to cover a sport then cover it (how many commercial radio stations cover the AFL?).

Decent show up today and great to be at the game. Hoping the results will go our way next week and we get a home final. What are peoples' ideal situation?
I'd like the look of either...
ADU 49 BR 48 PG 46 WSW 46 MC 44 MV 41
or...
ADU 49 WSW 48 BR 48 PG 46 MC 44 MV 41

Pretty frustrating game to watch yesterday, like Keogh said we ground out the win. Next weekend at home to Melbourne City should be awesome though, can't wait! Biggest crowd of the year hopefully...

So what can we get attendance wise against Melbourne city?
I was wildly off with my suggestion against ccm.
Sunday arvo. Chance to possibly climb into top 3.
Could we break 16k???
Glory should smash the advertising this week and do what needs to be done for the final home game.

I don't think we will have room in the cap for Rhys if he doesn't drop his value, which he may due to his injury history. But I don't really understand why he would come back...have there been any legit rumours? Also not sure if he would be a smart signing with Vadosc and Risdon in the squad. Might unbalance our squad. Like PerthJay said...I want to see Vadosc, Castro and Reiners locked in. And despite what I said about Williams I guess I'd put him on the wish list...add Clut to that. Clut would be a handy signing to play Marinokvic's role.
Not sure why Goodwin would leave Adelaide. But would be a great acquisition to replace Garcia/push Warren.
