Not me, since the WC I'm def a part-time supporter of the Roos. Anytime I've bothered to watch a game it has been a waste of time.
Soft, I know but its the truth.

Best place to ask. Is it true Perth signed Sterjoski? I read he signed for 700,000 a season.

Hmm, Tribal Football. I don't like the looks of that. The only thing more inaccurate is the 442 rumour mill.
I'll await the press release, methinks...

Nobody stole Reid from you...Reid just opted for ACL action over none... plus Owusu is a former team mate of Reid. Yikes... Do you lurk in every thread just waiting for an Adelaide United reference? Yeah I just camp out on the forums all day waiting for retorts like this just to pick a fight. ](*,)

Someone should check the Perth Glory MySpace, they told me about Vrteski signing before FourFourTwo did.

It surprised me how quickly you responded to the comment in a thread unlikely to interest you. BTW, a retort is a reply/counter.

Unless a story has direct quotes, or is from TheWest regarding Glory then don't believe it. Have we learned our lesson :d

I've heard a whisper from a friend of a friend type at the club who says Sagey is flying to Melbourne for the Socceroos game next week... and he might be making some kind of announcement while there.. wouldn't say anymore but join the dots maybe??? One thing that certainly hasn't been much of a secret is the password for pre-sale tickets to the EPL games in July.. I've got a few emails advertising it and apparently it's PURPLE.. don't know how to paste the PDF I got but I'll put the link below.. it looks like you can buy tickets on Monday and Tuesday before the public sales start on Wednesday.. must say, I'm a little excited about the games and hope it's a sell out.. haven't seen one in my 5 years in Perth so far.. http://www.ticketmaster.com.au/search?tm_link=tm_homeA_header_search&q=perth+glory&search.x=40&search.y=7

In today's West:
Glory about to net Socceroo Only a last-minute contractual hitch can stop Perth Glory snaring Socceroos striker Mile Sterjovski as their marquee this season. Glory are on the brink of securing Sterjovski, who played for Derby County in the second-tier English Championship last season, although the club denied speculation the deal was already complete. Sterjovski had attracted interest from a number of A-League clubs after confirming an interest in returning to Australia following a career which took him to France, Switzerland and Turkey before he joined Derby last year. Glory deputy chairman Lui Giuliani said yesterday the club was still negotiating with a number of players and their representatives — including Sterjovski and Belgium international Emile Mpenza. But the smart money is on 30- year-old Sterjovski rejoining his former Sydney United and Parramatta Power coach David Mitchell for the new campaign. “Whilst we’ve been in touch with Derby, they have contractual issues to settle with Mile,” Giuliani said. Glory, who have already signed Derby defender Andy Todd, Socceroos midfielder Jacob Burns and Serbian striker Branko Jelic, have also been in touch with Mpenza, a former Manchester City forward who played for English Championship club Plymouth last season. Mitchell has also stepped up plans to strengthen the centre of defence and could target WA centre halves Chris Coyne or Adrian Madaschi, who are both in camp with the Socceroos in Dubai. Coyne, whose younger brother Jamie plays for Glory, is contracted to English League One club Colchester but is keen to return to Australia in the near future. Madaschi, who plays for third division club Porto Summaga in Italy, last week earned a surprise call-up for Australia’s final three World Cup qualifiers against Qatar in Doha tomorrow, Bahrain in Sydney on Wednesday and Japan in Melbourne on June 17. Giuliani said Glory needed to find out Madaschi’s contract status before making an approach but confirmed an interest in increasing the club’s local contingent. “We’d love to get a Perth boy back to Perth — no question,” said Giuliani, who travelled overseas with Mitchell as part of the club’s recruitment drive in April. “We’re still on the hunt for a defender and we are following up with some of the people we met in Europe.”

So I see Coyne is willing to leave his club: http://www.news.com.au/heraldsun/story/0,21985,25589046-2883,00.htmlI take it we don't need him anymore with Todd in the squad, just wish he decided he was going to leave earlier

Yes i do manually put the stories up .. i know ... takes time ... low life i have haha
If we sign Sterjovski .... unbelievable and I will be stoked.
If we sign Chris Coyne aswell ...... I wont have anymore jizz left to jizz anymore in my pants.

Some potentially good news.
Relieved the club is able to see that Sterjovski is the best choice marquee (since Recoba was too expensive) and that Coyne is able to mutually cancel the contract if he wants to come home.
Now keep shtum everyone, and don't jinx it by updating wikipedia etc.
PS. I'd ask a mod what the situation is with copyright and typing out West articles
