WGMG: When FTA Channels completely ignore the actual time slots they've set for a show. I set our Austar box to record Masterchef, as I was going to miss it. When the Austar/Fox boxes record shows, they record it according to the time slot it's given, so it knows when to stop recording. That's great, until the show, as all FTA shows do, runs overtime. The recording stopped, just as they were about to announce who was being eliminated. GTFO.

Damn, Funky, that really sucks.

WGMG: Stupid referees who give absolutely NO protection to the players playing in the #10 role when their shit officiating lets hacks have a field day by just about taking your ankles off. Really grinds my gears.

Channels 7 and 10 show absolute contempt to their viewers and their scheduled programming with regard to starting and finishing times. Fucking gives me the shits. It's half the reason I don't watch a lot of tv.

They do it to promote the show that runs overtime. Nine got done for doing it with border protection or whatever with Vince Colosimo. It was consistently running overtime by 10 minutes into Underbelly 2: what a coincidence that only 2 million people or something were waiting to watch it.

The stations should get fined if a show runs over-time. They book their advertising slots and plan things out up to a month in advance. So why can't they run on time?
