Yeah that's shit, I've got the same problem, there has been an influx of hoons and motorcyclists screaming down Swanston Street at all hours lately and garbage trucks going into uni at ungodly hours.

I remember a few years ago, it was raining so hard we had to stay in the classroom for an extra hour because we couldn't get out :( It was getting into the classroom too.

One year we got a day off school cause of floods, but it's not a common thing over here.

I've noticed it tends to be more of the people who fit into the public school stereotype that emanates around my suburb. Having said that, even though the nearby public schools have tons of derro's and metro's, I've also noticed how much nicer some of the people are. Actually, that goes for most schools. Of course you're gonna get a fair few douhebags who are only at school bcause they're forced to and treat everyone like shit, but most of the people I know from public schools are a heck of a lot nicer.
