WGMG: Getting bumped from Surgery for the second day running on my hand that got cut by glass and has nerve damage, for someone who apparently complained at the ER. She dislocated her finger taking a mark in an Aussie Rules game.

Apparently thats what makes it important. But, another day, apparently im second on the list, and i think that includes pre planned surgeries that take priority if my understanding goes well. Apparently was supposed to be done yesterday, but there was like 4 emergency ceaserians (spelling?) and a couple traumas. Upside is, after i put in the post above, Ms. Dislocation got sent home before me, and i got told that I'd be within the hour :) and then i got sent home 10 minutes later when the surgeon came and told me there was another trauma and EC.

WGMG: Mrs' birthday is a month after her first mothers day. The thought process for gifts is killing me - is it sentimental enough, what is she expecting, is that a mothers day or a birthday gift, etc?
Wish I could just get her a bunch of shit I know she'll like/use and give it to her all in one
And ftr this mothers day/bday out of all of them is the one I can't just not get her stuff or not enough. I WILL be castrated if so. I know the stakes are high already.

My wife's birthday is a couple of weeks before Valentine's Day. One year she wanted wheel covers for her new car which had pretty plain wheels for her birthday but I forgot and got her something else. When she reminded me on her birthday I made a mental note to get her the wheel covers as the present for the next significant occasion. But apparently hubcaps are not a suitable Valentine's Day present ... who knows this?? Edited by biscuitman1871: 2/5/2016 05:48:43 PM

It's all fine and dandy for you, you guys just get to sit back and laugh every time one of you takes one of my posts and either turns it into a Seinfeld reference or just blatantly insults me. If I tell you to fuck off? "It's just a joke, lighten up". No wonder I don't have any self-esteem. If I'm not getting bullied and picked on by other people at school, I've always got a bunch of people twice my age comparing me to sitcom characters or calling me a whiny little bitch when I need help with my self-esteem issues.

If you laughed along and gave some back we would have moved passed the lighten up stage 6 months ago. We have given you the same advice for 6 months now. You are still the same neurotic whingebag you were then. Whilst you may want sympathy from strangers on the internet, you may be shocked to learn not everybody wants to help a 16 year old with the same mundane shit they went through in school, when they have problems of their own. In the last year I've had a long term relationship breakdown, had to move back in with my dad and struggled with unemployment. You're upset because some people tried to be your friends and you didn't like the way an adult relationship works. Harden the fuck up mate. I haven't given any back because a) there's nothing to give back and b) I don't want to stoop to those levels. I don't know what the fuck you think an "adult relationship" consists of, but I highly doubt that ganging up on one person and bullying them is a part of one. You may be surprised to learn that not everyone wants their "friends" to make fun of them and target things they're insecure about for months on end. I haven't revealed everything that I'm struggling with on this forum (and I don't fucking intend to, because if I did, I wouldn't be surprised if you guys used it to keep making fun of me, on top of the material you've already got), but it's more than mundane "waah-she-doesn't-like-me-back" bullshit. I've got way more that are pissing me off than being bullied here. I took your advice, tried putting myself out there, meeting new people and attempting to form some friendships with my classmates and it didn't fucking work. If anything, things are even worse than they were six months ago. For fucks sake, even 433 thinks your "banter" is going too far. This is a guy who responded to a fellow forumite losing his girlfriend in a terrorist attack with /pol/ memes, and he thinks what you're doing is mean, just for a bit of perspective.

I haven't given any back because a) there's nothing to give back and b) I don't want to stoop to those levels. The fact that you view banter as "stooping" shows you aren't mature enough for social interaction.Theres a difference between a little bit of banter and making fun of the way I look (we must be coming up on six months soon) and claiming I spy on kids.I don't know what the fuck you think an "adult relationship" consists of, but I highly doubt that ganging up on one person and bullying them is a part of one. You may be surprised to learn that not everyone wants their "friends" to make fun of them and target things they're insecure about for months on end. You also aren't mature enough to realise mates don't coddle mates. We give each other shit. Its how we learn our flaws, come to terms with them and attempt to eradicate them.Except that doesn't fucking work when I can't change the way I look or change my own personality (at least significantly), two of the things I get the most shit for. I never asked to be coddled, I'm just asking to not be treated like a punching bag.I haven't revealed everything that I'm struggling with on this forum (and I don't fucking intend to, because if I did, I wouldn't be surprised if you guys used it to keep making fun of me, on top of the material you've already got), but it's more than mundane "waah-she-doesn't-like-me-back" bullshit. This is a guy who responded to a fellow forumite losing his girlfriend in a terrorist attack with /pol/ memes, and he thinks what you're doing is mean, just for a bit of perspective. It may seem mean now because of the way you react, but you forget, before the m80 army no one spoke to you. We tried being your mate. We offered help, we listened to your shit. Its no surprise that you cop a bit extra now because of the way you behave.
Other people don't have the guts to say how they feel. I don't dislike you, I'm just being honest with you. It is sad, but there may be a reason nobody likes you. You can't expect people to treat you nicely because of your feelings. Unfortunately, that's not how life works. So now you're trying to shift this onto me by saying that I'm making it seem mean because of the way I react. Ffs. You're also implying that being bullied by people twice your age is somehow infinitely better than just being left alone. I didn't realise I'm supposed to be eternally grateful that you spared you're precious time to pay attention to me and allow you to crack all the jokes you want at my expense.
By the way, other people DO have the guts to say how they feel, as I've copped flak fro, several other users, users that aren't even m80s. So don't feel like you're doing what no one else has the balls to do. I'm not asking to be treated nicely "because of my feelings". I've just had enough of being your punching bag. I find it hard to relate to 16 year old as when I was a 16 year old 20 years ago we basically paintings in caves and you would come across the odd wank mag in the forest. We didnt have anyone to open up to/complain to/bitch to except our friends, if you even did that. I wouldnt call giving friendly advice as enabling him, but I dont think "harden up" is suitable for every case either. Personally Im happy I didnt grow up with 24hr access to the internet and forums. Spending time with yourself is always beneficial to help form your identity and character.
