If you're working in retail or hospitality that's not the case, dealing with the public. Or even working a job that you enjoy or working in a company with a large number of employees where you meet at least one person who likes the same stuff as you.

There has to be a degree of similarity in order for people to choose the same career path.

Not necessarily. All kinds of people have worked in the jobs I've had.

WGMG: The new batch of year 7's. I swear they get more annoying by the year. I know everyone thinks this, but our grade was never that bad. None of us ever abused the older kids or pranced around like we owned the school. And if any of us did do that, it was only a small group, not half the year.

This. Today this group of year 7's were picking on this year 8 boy for no reason that I could tell. It seemed to be between one year 7 and 8 kid though. Some of my group started ripping into the year 7 cos he's a fat douche.

You guys are submitting to the accepted 'social structure' in high schools that expect year 7 to respect year 8 to repsect year 9 etc.

But for all you know the kids have known each other outside of school for years.

Collectively, every year, people complain about year 7's. My sister has been doing it for years. Fortunately I went to highschool with a divided campus.

Year 7 and 8 are both the same to me. I was more referring to the fact that year 7's are the biggest pussies that they will only pick on someone if they are in a very big group. Picking on people is so fucking immature anyway, if you don't like someone why do you HAVE to let them know it and pick on them. That is what shits me most about year 7's and 8's.

That's the same mentality of kids regardless. It's not just year 7's, children as a whole hae a pack mentality. Some kids grow out of it, some don't.
