WGMG: When you help someone and think you've made a difference, and then they treat you like crap. No thanks or anything. Next time they want help, they aren't getting ti from me.
WGMGEM: No matter what I say, people are always going to side with this person. "Her? She's perfect, YOU must've been in the wrong".
AWMGMTT: People who can't admit they've done something wrong, because they have 'stuff' going on in their lives. Grow up FFS. Everyone does, don't think you're bigger/better than everyone else. and its not that I don't know the full picture, I've been told everything. Just because you're hurt doesn't me you should be exempt from apologies.

This for me also. Except my team will now probably be folding as well. We've had 7 people turn up overall to the past two weeks.

Do you mean to games or training?
For the last few years 7 or 8 people turning up to training was good turn out for my team.

WGMG: Got a big situation going on. Last year sometime I accidently texted this guy, because for some reason I had his number saved as a friend of mine. I had a bit of a conversation with him when I found out that he was a mate of my friend and not just some random, and then he texted me a few times after that, but I didn't find him that interesting or easy to talk to or whatever, and I knew pretty much nothing about him anyway. His little sister knows my little sister, and now months later apparently his sister and mum etc (none of whom I know) are wanting me to go to his school ball with him. My sister told me that today. She said that his sister really wants him to go to the ball with someone, but apparently he's not very good around girls, and so has noone to go with. This is accentuated by the fact that he wants to ask me, a girl who he's only texted a couple of times and has never even met. I really don't want to go with him, but at the same time I feel really bad saying no and everything, and one of my friends brothers might be going to ask me to go with him to that ball anyway.

If you really dont want to go with this guy then dont feel guilty about saying 'no' just do it and get it over with.

I'll feel really bad because if I go to the ball with the other guy, then see this guy there, well that would be incredibly awkward. And he's not the most popular guy so he probably won't go to the ball without a date, and I know what it's like to miss out on going to the ball :( .

There was an instance a while ago, (that i would rather forget) where i tried to spare someone's feelings by going along with it, and created the biggest mess of my life. I know it might seem bad, but in the straight through path you end up being a lot less of a dick than trying to spare someones feelings.

Even if you mean good, it doesnt work. :(
i know it sucks, but it is the lesser of two evils.

I know the feeling, but trust me, going along with it is likely to create a lot more touble and misery than getting it out of the way early.

Ok, so apparently the guy who I thought might ask me to go with him has already asked someone else because he thought that I wouldn't be interested. Even though I really really was, but whatever.
So that changes the situation by a lot.

My friend's brother. I'm kind of guttered about that seeing as he didn't even try and ask me but meh, fine, that's cool.
My mate reckons that I should go with this other guy because she'll be there and everything.
