Technically no, but I spent a solid hour at my friends place watching his brother play(and hurling abusive language at him in the meantime, trying to put the poor little bastard off) and my mate was on my side too.

Then again I am the most muscially useless member in my family. My brother can play the guitar and base(he's also studying sound engineering), whilst my sister is a vocalist, pianist, guitarist and fluteist(:?). I on the other hand can barely whistle and can only click my left fingers. :x

But seriously, give GH a try. I don't know how it does it, but when you're shredding those buttons, and you're getting the song right, and its some stupid 80's Power Ballad solo, you feel like a god damn rockstar. It's incredible.

learn how to play a proper guitar instead of a plastic piece of junk. I learn't how to play, and find GH pointless. I can't see the enjoyment of playing a guitar when your not playing it. All your famous rock stars never learn how to play on GH, they learnt the good old way.

and i'll happily bet you that when you learn to do a 80's power ballad solo on a proper electirc or a normal guitar, you'll feel like a PROPER rockstar instead of just a tryhard.

Heineken, I thought EXACTLY the same thing you are thinking right now before I got it. The point isn't to learn guitar so you can say your heaps good at playing guitar or using it as a substitute for a real guitar. The point is that it is a fun way to 'play' guitar and a good video game. It really has nothing to do with what you are saying. The majority of people that play it anyway can most likely play a real guitar anyway.
It's fun.

If you don't wanna pla guitar, why bother playing GH. Sure, you might say for fun, but wouldn't it be more enjoyable to actually learn how to play it. instead of tapping a few buttons on piece of plastic.

So do all people who play Fifa have to learn how to actually play football as well? And all people who play CoD have to sign up for the army? You play Need for Speed, do you have to go speeding around the streets as well?

And maybe spending a few years actually learning to play guitar isn't fun for some people...is that hard to realise?

I haven't played Guitar Hero in ages. Probably because I can only play both the drums and guitar on medium. Still, it's great for when mates come over. And they actually have good songs on there.

I plugged my PS3 into the TV (usually its connected to my HD monitor), and Guitar Hero is all fucked. Even when I try to calibrate the controller, it is still fucked.

WGMG: People who believe they are deadset football purists and bitch and complain about how low quality and boring the Aleague is. TBH I enjoy the ALeague and I think it is doing alright for a 5 year old competition.

I'm pretty lazy and unco so real guitar is never going to happen for me however guitar hero lets me feel like i could if i wanted so i'm going to keep enjoying it. It's better than real guitar because it's easier, real guitar is for people who have too much time on their hands.
