Yes it does!!!!
I wouldn't know it by going to Aus 442 though :-k
Can we PLEASE get some La Liga and Serie A regular news on the website? Add Bundisliga as well.
They are like 6 rounds in, Juventus is on 2nd place and we get no news at all (bare minimum at best). The only time Italian football gets mentioned here is when someone gets killed, Euro 2008 qualifiers and Champions League round ups.
C'mon guys. Football exists outside of the UK and Australia (not saying that I don't read almost every Australian related article..)
Get some Spanish, Italian and German news on here. We have European and World players of the years coming from these leagues. We have the Champions League winners and World Champions coming from these leagues yet they get hardly any mention on this website.

What Erebus said. I hardly even realised that the Serie A was that far in until I checked out the tables on the website.

Just so you know, the Ronaldo/ManU story was read by five times the number of people who read the Lazio-Real Madrid story today, and the Benitez Liverpool story was read by five times the number of people who read the Inter Milan story posted at the same time today.
While we always aim to provide as comprehensive an overview as possible, I'm a keen believer in giving the reader more of what they want... At the moment, it appears more people want to read about UK clubs than Euro ones.
However I'll bump up the Euro coverage next week (I'm away this weekend) and see if it continues the same pattern, but the basic message is, if you want more, click more on the stories already there!

Ahh yes, the old Chicken or the Egg arguement :-({|=
Its called evolution, a combination of a lack in both supply and demand [for other leagues] over time.

The trouble is that the website's coverage is somewhat lacking in comprison to other webpages (ie skysports or soccernet) and hence, people go to them for said news. The Rob Styles stories posted by FFT were at times 18 hours behind the skysports coverage. They need to keep the coverage upto date to draw people here. Quote:;) Thank you, Im here all night. Eh? Check the time stamp on this - we had the story up within minutes of the game finishing at 5am. How much more up to date do you want?

The Del Piero one is from the Press Association, not the 442 journos, so they didn't actually "write" it.

Pfft thats just Cockerill making shit up like he always does. He is the only one that has mentioned the Nigerian game scheduled for a month away. He is the only one thats "confirmed" that Advocaat is the new coach. No other source is stating this stuff.

You would think that there would be more than just talk on cable TV if there was an international friendly a month away. And why do people keep fucking talking about Advocaat??!! :@

Quote:He would be worth every damn cent. No he wouldn't, because he would spend the entire time bemoaning the lack of quality players and not work on youth at all. I'm tempted to disagree since there is more money in the ECL for him if you add it all up.

It's not all about the money, but why should he take a massive cut in earnings to coach australia and relocate when he can stay where he is?

are you sure relocating is part of the job description? im sure its whats wanted but right now id take him based anyway as we really need a new coach before the WC quals begin.
it may be a massive cut buts its still 2mil or something a year, he wont exactly go broke. i think it would actually be quite an attractive offer to come live in australia. i guess itll just come down to whether hes happy enough at zenit or not.

The FFA would want a coach who's going to eb willing to come to australia and frequent the A-League matches. As for if he would be happy enough at Zenit...well, wouldnt' you be happy there coaching ECL football??

ECL? i assume you mean champions league, and yes he would, probably even happy enough at uefa cup level but for me the chances are still slim. what do the team need to come to make it? and then do they still have to go through quals? i guess the other side of it is if he fails to get australia through then it could be seen as a wasted 2-3 years in his career.
