Another one I just noticed/remembered is posts that I've read in the past 2/3 hours appearing as unread again.

Yeah same thing happens to me, It's been going for a while, I put it down as dodgy phone internet or something. Obviously not.

Yeah, that's what I meant, my bad. I think the orange markers stay most of them time, though sometimes I'm sure I've come back and it's all gone.

Fixed, I think? Yeah the icon on the left indicates that, but the little red flag on the far right that links you to the last post remains red. I go off these markers anyway, not the icon on the left. Been like that for as long as I can remember. I usually just open all the ones I want to view first then sort through the tabs in the explorer.

I don't know about anyone else, but I'm still having problems with threads and posts appearing as read or unread. Often I've come into ET with quite a few unread topics, I'll click on one, read it, come back to the main page, and all the topics will appear as unread, even though I haven't read them. Other times new posts have been made, but they won't appear as unread at all, and I can only tell a new post has been made because of the time at which the latest post in threads were. Anyone else having these problems?
