News, if you're talking about this year's 13's Nationals, there was no 'Metro' teams or any NT teams. I was in Canberra for the week and there were only 8 competing teams. They were:

*NSW
*VIC
*WA
*SA
*NNSW
*ACT
*TAS
*QLD.

The champions were NSW.

MidfieldMaestro is correct News. There was no Northern Territory teams male or female at the under 13 nationals held in Canberra in the month of April. I was there aswell, my son played for the ACT team. They did not do that well although they had some good players in the team. Very under prepared due to the fact that Capital Football thought or told the parents that it wasnt that important. Let me tell you, the boys thought it was important and were devastated to finish where they did.

The ACT under 14 boys attending the Nationals in Coffs Harbour this week will be a different proposition though. They have been well prepared throughout the winter months playing in the local U/16 premier league, taking the premiership and winning the grand final in fine style adding to that they won the Kanga cup U/16 competiton aswell.

Good luck to all the boys from Canberra do the Capital proud.

News, when I open the link, it says 'file not found.'

Spathi, is your son coming up to Newcastle in a fortnight to play in the U/13's Veto Sports tournamnent? Should be a good tournament. I know they'll be hoping to make up for the Nationals, and trying to get over the disappointment of taking only 1 point all week, in a draw against the Tasmanians.

I tell ya, NNSW were extremely disappointed to finish 6th. I, the players and the parents know that at their best, NNSW could have got even a top 4 finish. I have my ideas as to why they didn't go so well, but I choose not to go into it.

MidfieldMaestro unfortunately ACT will not be attending because of a conflict with school holidays. But your right they would have loved to come and claim some sort of redemption for the poor showing at April's Nationals. The boys played in the local U/14 competition in the winter season and finished 2nd by 1 point. If the Nationals were held now im sure they would have performed much better. Its ashame that they had to held in April.

News ill tell you a player to look out for from ACT at the nationals in Coffs , his name is Michael Taurisi U/14's . He scored 54 goals in 43 games this year. Vic and NSW generally do dominate but ACT puches above its weight.Q'land have some really good players also but judging by the way their U/13's team played in canberra WA play the most appealing game for the purists that is. Anyway good luck to all players and lets hope we can get some good young socceroos coming through.

Good start for NNSW in Coffs.

14's winning yesterday 5-1 over Tasmania.

15's winning yesterday 1-0 over Tasmania and 5-0 over QLD country today.

Also, 6 teams are confirmed for the Veto Sports U/13's tournament in Newcastle for next week.

*NNSW Hunter
*NNSW Regional (Northern Region)
*SA Metro
*SA Country
*Capital Football NZ and
*North West Tasmania.

Should be good.

Lol, I told you to watch out for Liam Francis, Scored the 4th goal in a 4-0 Victory against NNSW.

He told me that the striker who scored 2 goals against them is a VIS player, and the defender who scored the 3rd was the other VIS Player in the squad. They are the only 2 VIS Players for U14.

Well News, I'm not sure of there is a site which gives you all the results. I get my results as I know someone who plays in the 15's squad. That and the NNSW Football website give daily updates.

Well done to NNSW 15's who beat Victoria Metro 1-0 today in their semi. =d>

Good luck to the guys tomorrow who play NSW Metro in the final. The boys can do it, as earlier in the tournament NNSW beat NSW Metro 2-0. Today, NSW Metro beat SA 3-1.

Better luck next time for the NNSW 14's who were defeated 3-1 by Football West in the 5th/6th place match despite a goal in the 1st minute by TMG's best mate. :p Never mind, these guys will be back next year better for the experience.

I caught most of the 2nd half of the 15s final (NSW Met v. NNSW) but i missed the first goal. Metro were a class above from what i saw. Northern seemed to lose the plot after they went behind. Number 7 for Metro was running the show from middle of park. Little blonde haired fella - Anyone know his name??

Well done to all teams in the top 4 playoffs. Congrats to ACT u/14's for finishing 3rd, with a population of only 320,000 this is a fine achievement. Congrats to Michael Taurisi from ACT 14's for winning the golden boot award i think it was 8 goals he scored. Did anyone watch him play i wouldnt mind some neutral feedback as i am from ACT so im biased as to his abilities.
