+x+x+x+xI love watching people stick of for their man on their team rofl. -PB I didnt vote for Morisson and dont think he is a particularly good leader. But the current pile on is completely confected and politically motived. Its egregious and unconscionable to hijack a fire disaster to destablise the government and attack the PM because you’re still bitter over the election loss. I bet if he were of Labor the left and twittersphere would applaud him for returning from a well deserved holiday to unite the country and commit our defence force to fighting the fires. He would be hailed as a hero and elevated to moral sainthood a la Adern, commended for his compassion and sensitive handling of the fire tragedy. lol nah, he's being shown to be the inept, conniving, opportunistic - oops, I just ate my own poop... that he is. Zero sympathy. -PB Theres literally nothing he can do that would make you see him in a positive light. Even if he were to cure AIDS and cancer and solve world hunger, you would still find a way to hate on him. Its all cheap, tacky, petty, low brow, gutter politics. You just need to look inwardly at your hollow little heart in order to realise this. Dude. He went on a holiday to Hawaii during the biggest national crisis this country has seen in decades. He deserves the criticism. AND they tried to cover it up in the press. And I'm anything but a labor supporter so don't use the "salty for losing the election" bullshit with me.

It then morphed into this ugly vicious lynch mob that we see today, with every move and word uttered by the PM eagerly dissected by then left to find some kind of hidden malicious intent or wrongdoing and then vomiting it all over digital media and the front pages. Did you know that QLD premier went on a during the BIGGEST NATIONAL CRISIS THE COUNTRY HAS SEEN IN DECADES!!!? Did you know that the federal opposition leader attended a cricket game DURING THE BIGGEST NATIONAL CRISIS THE COUNTRY HAS SEEN IN DECADES!!!!? No consistency in the confected outrage.

Peter van Onselen @vanOnselenP I kid you not, I can confirm the inner sanctum of Team Morrison are actively backgrounding media against the NSW Coalition government to try and make sure the PM doesn’t wear the blame for his handling of the fires. It’s extraordinary that is their focus at the moment! #auspolFucking rofl. -PB

Its worth pointing out that 83% of fires are man lit, mostly arson, and that arson attacks are significantly rising. However this fact remains deliberately underreported in the media, as inconvenient facts might get in the way of a good PM bashing. and their narrative that coal fire power stations started the fires.

I mean thats why we’re all shitting ourselves isnt it, because THE NATION IS ON FIRE ARGGHHHH. In any case more fires that are lit the more thinly spread resources to combat them which in turn increases their intensity and duration. The main variable in this current fire “emergency” is the increase in arson attacks and the media is deliberately covering it up to pursue a climate change agenda.

A lot of the news here in Canberra is OMG, there's so much smoke and we are on alert in case the surrounding fires somehow spread and Canberra being inescapable (with no fires, but also no escape routes. But this was reported for about 5 minutes. Then it was back to oh my, so much smoke, the P2 masks are selling out

The whole arson situation is starting to bleed into mainstream media now. It will be interesting to see how the climate alarmists react, whether they dismiss it outright as an inconvenient truth a la PB.

Of those, 24 people have been charged with deliberately lighting bushfires. Another 53 were charged or cautioned for failing to comply with a total fire ban and another 47 with discarding a lit cigarette. So 13% actually. +x+xI love watching people stick of for their man on their team rofl. If Bill Shorten had won the election and that was literally the only difference between now and then- The LNP faithful and fence sitters would be bashing Bill for his poor optics (which they are, regardless) and you'd have the ALP faithful accusing the critics of making a mountain out of a molehill and a smear campaign from ThE mUrDoCh MeDiA. The likes of Friendlyjordies would segue this into saying we should really be outraged about THE LIBRUL GOVERNMENT's inability to address global warming and that this was really all their fault. Shorten and the ALP would then dedicate new funds to fire prevention by our emergency services which the LNP faithful would accuse of being face-saving, while the ALP faithful praised Bill and the ALP for once again showing common sense. Meanwhile our RFS volunteers would continue working to contain these fires in the midst of fire season while people looked for anyway to use a naturally occurring national crisis to fling shit at all the ignorant and brainwashed people on the other team...

There are several factors that led to the outbreak of these fires, but there's a lot of people who insist on making it a single ticket issue and ignoring all other possible factors because they think it's inconvenient to the arguments of their "team".

What is the Murdoch media these days? The Australian, Sky and Daily Telegraph? Even news.com.au which is owned by news corp has a decidedly leftist agenda. You wont find a single story on there praising him and you will stacks laying the boot in while blowing sunshine up leftists heroes like Adern and Hollywood celebs for bashing our government. Contrast this with leftist media outlets where youve got news.com.au, ABC, the Guardian, Twitter, SMH, Fairfax, The Project, morning news pundits, Golden Globes, Hollywood celebs and worst of all the international outlets like BBC, that fuckhole Piers Morgan, CNN etc all chiming in to broadcast their pro climate change, conservative hate agenda.

Or maybe everyone disapproves of ScoMo regardless of left/right bias?
