Last day of the test is free... always has been in Melbourne anyway.

don't think that's true... use to be all the time but pretty sure they don't do that anymore unless they can't guarantee more than a session's play... i had to play 45 bucks to go to the 5th day of the Sydney Ashes test in 07' and it didn't even get to lunch

the money?... my ticket on day 2 in sydney is 25 bucks... they couldn't be that expensive

They're expensive for someone who doesn't have a job and for someone who has already had their early Christmas present.

Going Boxing Day, then 27th again, and straight to Victory vs. Jets that night. Will be awesome :)

I was thinking of flying down the morning of boxing day and getting out to it because the atmosphere would be unbelivable but passed up the oppurtunity... might go down for the last two days if the series is on the line

Would his mother allow him to catch a train all by his lonesome self then spend the day at the cricket with no supervision? :-s. My mum worries about me going to the football by myself

Difference is, he is under 18 unlike you.

That's pretty embarassing, considering my mum has let me go to the football by myself since I was about 12.

I used to always go to Melbourne Knights games by myself, she never cared.

Barmy Army supervision? ;)
i'm annoyed by Australian crowds though at the cricket, how there passive, not active towards what's happening on the ground, there only active when they get bored and start mexican wave/beachball... whereas the Barmy Army are like a football crowd feeding off the energy on the pitch and giving it back to the players, and i think they'd be having the most fun in the ground which will annoy me when i sit in the cheap seats day 2 because i'd sort of wanna join in or start something to compete with them but the shit thing is australians compete with Aussie Aussie Aussie which is just facepalm compared to the stuff they do with the trumpeter and general chants/songs... I'd be up for doing "Who Are Ya'" to Stuart Broad

Urgh, she's horrible. She's English, but seems to have been sucked in to the whole Soccah violence routine. She nearly had a heart attack when i said i was a regular in The Cove i hate how she's so over protective, Doesn't wanna let go. Pissed me off. I may be moving out of home for a short while, that's gonna be awkward. She starts panicking if i don't contact her every couple of hours.

Definitely gonna spend a bit of time in the Barmy Army if i go - My cousin did last time he came over from England, but i was a wee bit too young to be part of it then. Will have to drag out my England flag to drape round the neck. Would be good fun :)

Wow that's pretty bad, I feel sorry for you man.

When I was in Sydney for Round 27 this season, and I was pushed over by the cops and hurt my leg, I returned home a few days later and was limping. I told her what happened and she said "Fucking hit them back next time".

My mum is so awesome.

The loss against Liverpool was enough but then the 3-0 against Sunderland, then Birmingham and then that goal against Newcastle summed it all up:lol:

Definately. That match really showed up just how poor Chelsea were. Like they were outmuscled and well beaten against City but they bounced back this is just something else.
