Haha, I've got a story similar to that.

A few years back, one morning after Liverpool had played Charlton Athletic, I decided to have a bit of a laugh at my brother's expense and tell him that Liverpool had lost 3-2 (he is a mad Liverpool fan, btw.) I had told him this not knowing anything that had happened in this match, I was too busy with the whole sleeping thing. He fully bought it and I couldn't believe that he did. When we watched the sports news, this is what we heard: "Charlton Athletic 3, Liverpool 2." :lol:

Fully made my day. So much more excited about travelling to Auckland to witness the Palmy juggernaut unleash on Auckland City.
