Most universities will offer screen and media studies, and a good opportunity to get experience reviewing movies for the uni paper. Often, there will be a cinematic club on campus too.

I'd rather take a Pub with live music over a club any day of the week. Much better crowd in Pubs and atmosphere. Also clubs charge ridiculous entry fees - and their drinks are ridiculously priced - $15 for a watered down Rum & Coke at Trademark. You can socialise at pubs, at clubs you gotta put up with deafening doof doof music and 18, 19 year old girls (probably the only upside), you can watch the football, sport at pubs, at clubs you have to dance, or just moap around looking bored/horny/annoyed/all of the above.

Pubs >>>>> Clubs All the way. I have friends who think i'm crazy, but i seriously hate clubbing.

Mmmmm depends. Club with a decent DJ can be really good, but in comparison to the above post NZ clubs have cheaper drinks and usually no charge on the door.

Definitely, you can actually chat to people and hear good live music rather than shitty deafening techno trancey crap. Good thing about where I live is that I'm surrounded by student pubs, cheap drinks, amazing atmosphere and every night of the week one of them will be having specials. Pubs with amazing atmosphere will always trump clubs which more often than not get very boring very quickly, plus its often hard to move in clubs and can take ages to get served at a high price

WFMB: Indoor tonight. Get to have some scummy fuck kick lumps out of me again.

WFMB: Made it 3 wins from 3 games today with a 2-1 win over Marton.
WFMB: I set up the last goal with a good run through their defence and shooting at the far post where one of our strikers tapped it in.
WFMB: Today was further proof that our defence this year is brilliant compared to last year. Although we conceded our first goal it was against a team that had excellent finishers who can grab a goal from anywhere and the goal we conceded was from a left back knocking it past our keeper.
