don't know any off the top of my head. But i know theres loads of backpackers hostels around Bondi, Coogee, and Bronte etc. There should be some cheap accomodation round there for a few days providing all the pastey poms haven't booked em already :lol:

Bateman's bay is nice. Bit of a drive though. Has a beach and a huge river.

Haha,why the fuck would you go to Bendigo? I dont mind it tbh, its a lot quiter than Melbourne and I like that and today's weather was ALOT better than recent days

There was a Swap Meet on and my dad made us all go.
At 9am it was fucking 35 degrees! I had to sit down under the shade by 10.30! :lol:

Was that at the showgrounds? You would been exposed to some of the worst Bendigo offers there, did you venture into the CBD and the Mall? Its a lot nicer there and did you see our one sky scraper? The Bendigo Bank offices near McDonalds lol

And I went to the CBD and had lunch at McDonalds.

I will say one thing, Bendigo is better than Ballarat. :lol:

Well thats all I need to know lol, we have a fierce rivalry they are our Shelbyville.
And yes S_F we have a CBD, Bendigo has a population of over 100k

their CBD is a post office and a maccas.

Nah its our Mall, the fountain, bath lane which is full of caffes and the Bendigo bank head qaurters, the secnic Rosiland Park, Court house, Art Gallery, Theartre and much more that I cant be bothered writing, maccas isnt really in the CBD its on the border of it and the post office is opposite the Mall near the library

And a Pub. It's a country town, gotta have a pub.

The pubs in town are mostly located in one strip conveniently close to all the clubs. The closest thing to a pub in the CBD is the Shamrock Hotel which really is nothing like one

I think we all know Ballarat is much much better than Bendigo and Bendigo has a population estimated at only 88,031 whilst Ballarat has a population 88,437....
