I want Schweinsteiger...or Beckham.

Speaking of Kits. Would it be considered bad form to get a Keepers name on a non keepers jersey?

Edited by avy1990: 10/6/2010 08:42:14 PM Schweinsteiger. No contest. Quote:Speaking of Kits. Would it be considered bad form to get a Keepers name on a non keepers jersey? Personally, I'd consider it ot be poor form. If you're that much of a fan of the keeper, you'd buy the keeper's kit.

I considered that, and probably would, but wouldn't be more poor form considering I'm not, and have no intention of being a keeper?

By the same token, you'll never play for Celtic, despite the fact that you're talking about buying their Jersey and you'd get eg. Brown on your shirt, despite that you'd never be a midfielder.

In australia that's largely because the fans aren't that 'in depth'...you see it in england occasionally. But if anything that would make your kit more unique surely?

True. Very well then.
2 Questions then.
A)Where do people buy their kits from? Real kits preffered
B)Where would I take it to get the name/number put on it?

B)Where would I take it to get the name/number put on it? If you look on the club's online store they probably do the lettering and numbers...and it will probably be the club's official lettering if they have one. the only problem is, you've got to get the size right because most clubs don't take returns on Jerseys with a name on the back.

I know you can't get football clubs Keeper Jerseys at Rebel, iv'e looked. You can buy regular goalkeeping jerseys there tho. On a side note, why is my Orange tag for the Netherlands stuffing up?

It is shithouse. The one in Broadway and World Square in the City still stock the L.A Galaxy Jerseys - and all of them still have Beckhams name on them. #-o, the friendly was what, 3 years ago now?

They still have them in Melbourne at my local store as well. They have Victory's jerseys from 2007/08. And still have Man Utd's kits from 2008 for $130.

They still have the beckham shirts at my local store too. Still charging $140. It's obscene how much they charge for shirts here.
