Shame they aren't playing a team game. They forgot about the rest of their team! Soccer is not, and never will be a 1 man game. Acknowledge the other 10 players on the pitch. It's about commitment, dedication and yes playing as part of a team! Passing the ball does help.

I dont know if u watched the video of the older kid, he was stringing great passes out to his teammates in almost all the clips.

If we push their individual skills until say 10/11 we will create better players, we push them to early to one touch and give and go before they even develop as players.

Have to agree with Afro here TMG. Although they do show plenty of promise at this age, a LOT could happen down the track. I've been told before how many kids have plenty of talent at 13/14/15, but lose interest in the serious side of the game and end up being happy just playing for fun with their mates as they have new interests, or other committments they just couldn't bring themselves to give up. In fact, I know someone like this.

BTW TMG, did you film these yourself? I recognise these venues too. First one's at Myer Park (Broadmeadow Magic) and the 2nd and 3rd videos are at Darling St. Oval. (Hamilton Olympic)

Anyway, having a good start is important and the club is a very good one and hopefully help further develop them as good footballers.

They're fucking 6 and 7 years old. A lot can happen in the next ten years between them being a prodigy and them potentialyl signing a professional contract.

For any kids you know who could be our next Cahill, Kewell, or Neill.

These two young brothers who are friends of ours have amazing ability and loads of potential for a 7 and 12 year old.
