Chelsea linked with major push for Real Madrid keeper Casillas

It emerged over the weekend that Chelsea were considering splashing out big on a new No1 over concerns for the long-term form of Petr Cech.

Those reports were rubbished on Saturday night by Chelsea.

However, Sport says Casillas is under consideration by Chelsea and should he show a willingness to move, Blues owner Roman Abramovich is willing to splash out big to bring the Spain international to London in June.

Before anything is done, however, Chelsea want Casillas to declare publicly he wants a move away from Madrid.
