Football Federation Victoria has removed the Super League competition, the reason is because of Distances. This is how my age group structure would be.

U15 BOYS – ‘A’
•   GREEN GULLY – Super League team finished 5th
•   MELBOURNE KNIGHTS – Super League team finished 3rd
•   KEILOR PARK – Super League team finished 1st
•   ALTONA CITY – Super League team finished 8th
•   GISBORNE – Super League team finished 9th (Would of been Relegated)
•   BENDIGO (BASL) – A’s team finished 1st
•   GEELONG REGION FOOTBALL ASSOCIATION (GRFA) – A’s team finished 2nd
•   GEELONG SC – A’s team finished 5th
•   BALLARAT ACADEMY OF SOCCER A’s team finished 6th
•   BRIMBANK STALLIONS – A’s team finished 7th

U15 BOYS ‘B’

•   GREEN GULLY B – Finished 3rd In A’s
•   ALTONA CITY B – Finished 4th In A’s
•   SUNSHINE GEORGIES - Finished 8th In A’s
•   WILLIAMSTOWN – Finished 9th (Would of been Relegated) In A’s
•   LAVERTON PARK – Finished 10th (Would of been Relegated) In A’s
•   BRIMBANK CITY – Finished 1st (Would of been Promoted) In B’s
•   KEILOR PARK B – Finished 2nd (Would of been Promoted) In B’s
•   WERRIBEE CITY – Finished 3rd In B’s
•   MARIBYRNONG GREENS – Finished 4th In B’s
•   AVONDALE HEIGHTS – Finished 5th In B’s

U15 BOYS ‘C’ (11 Clubs Included, 1 Club May Pull Out of This League or League Above, If A Team From B’s Pulls Out Sunshine Georgies C’s can be in the B’s league, even though there is already a Sunshine Georgies team in there according to the new rules.

•   SUNSHINE GEORGIES – Finished 6th In B’s
•   SYDENHAM PARK – Finished 7th In B’s
•   HOPPERS CROSSING – Finished 8th In B’s
•   BALLARAT ACADEMY OF SOCCER – Finished 1st In C’s
•   MELBOURNE LIONS – Finished 2nd In C’s
•   WILLIAMSTOWN – Finished 3rd In C’s
•   WERRIBEE CITY – Finished 4th In C’s
•   FLEMMINGTON EAGLES – Finished 5th In C’s
•   BACCUS MARSH – Finished 6th In C’s
•   MITCHELL RANGERS – Finished 7th In C’s
•   SPRING HILLS – Finished 8th In C’s

Now you can see the un-competitiveness. You can almost bet on your house you will see 2-4 teams get smashed everyweek 5-0.

DISTANCE FACTOR
GREEN GULLY TO MELBOURNE KNIGHTS GROUND - 10 MINUTES
GREEN GULLY TO KEILOR PARK GROUND - 10 MINUTES
GREEN GULLY TO ALTONA CITY GROUND - 20-25 MINUTES
GREEN GULLY TO GISBORNE - 45 MINUTES
GREEN GULLY TO BENDIGO - 1 HOUR, 30 MINUTES
GREEN GULLY TO GEELONG'S TEAMS - 40-50 MINUTES
GREEN GULLY TO BALLARAT - 1 HOUR
GREEN GULLY TO BRIMBANK STALLIONS - 5 MINUTES

295 MINUTES APPROX. - 5 HOURS
TOTAL: 590 MINUTES FOR GO AND RETURN - 10 HOURS

OLD LEAGUE DISTANCES
GREEN GULLY HAD TO TRAVEL TO MELBOURNE KNIGHTS, KEILOR PARK, ALTONA, GISBORNE ALREADY. (90 MINUTES APPROX - 1 HOUR AND A HALF TO GO THERE.)

GREEN GULLY TO ESSENDON ROYALS - 20 MINUTES
GREEN GULLY TO BRUNSWICK ZEBRAS - 20 MINUTES
GREEN GULLY TO BUNDOORA - 25 MINUTES
GREEN GULLY TO NORTH CITY LIONS - 15 MINUTES
GREEN GULLY TO WHITTLESEA STALLIONS - 25 MINUTES

195 MINUTES. 100 MINUTES SHORTER THAN HAVING THIS NEW STRUCTURE. SUPER LEAGUE DIVISIONS ARE SET LIKE THIS

North/West Super League - (Green Gully are In West)
South/East Super League

NOW THIS NEW STRUCTURE IS LIKE:
WESTERN
NORTHERN & CENTRAL
SOUTHERN
EASTERN & NORTH EASTERN
NORTH WEST
SOUTH EAST

(North West Doesnt Mean North and West, Just the clubs in the North West of Melbourne, same with North East, South East etc.)

Thanks FFV. My trips are going to be longer. Not Shorter. Another failed plan by the FFV.

Other than a little bit of travel I don't see the issue, if it is a genuine "Super League" then it has to include the regional areas to help grow the game and improve the standard.
I don't think you should be complaining about travel unless you're in the shoes of Bendigo or Ballarat.

Super League was good. It was competitive and all. Now that there is no longer super league, the competitive ness will disappear.

shit mate, the shortest i drive for a game is half an hour (lismore) and the longest (two seasons ago) was banora point, which was almost two hours... we also used to play maclean which is about two hours.. what is the big problem with a 20-50minute drive each week and th occasional long trip? LOLOL (although i get your point, the new structure hasn't improved travel times, but it is important to start including regional centres.
