http://www.sydneyolympicfc.com/content/view/237/1/Sydney Olympic has officially completed the signing of French striker Cedric Ramirez. The former FC Lorient forward has impressed first grade coach Pat Marando during his trial stint at the club and he decided to offer him a permanent position on the team for the 2010 season. Ramirez, 26, said: I’m really happy to have signed with Sydney Olympic. I know about the history of this club and the great players that have played here. I’m looking forward to the season.”

*for our special posters this was sarcasm. the dwelling crowd figures, suggests that the novelty is wearing off.. but its ok, after the z-league, FFA will start a new competition, and you will support a new team, or in your case, just wait for your team to come along;)

In the NSL, it was being celebrated when we averaged 3,000. ANd also expect to see that number rise after the World Cup next year and the year after with more rivalries.

And that was a pure home team. Same conditions for both occasions. I can assure this time next week, after the Sydney-Melbourne game, at their actual home, you will be clutching at straws.
