i have been bored while watching Brisbane v Gold Coast match so here are some logos i knocked up from my fantasy A-League comp.

Made the logos based on european clubs and well many had references to their country ie a lot of spanish clubs with their crowns and i thought enough of the generic Cricket Australia style logo shields doing the rounds... (Adelaide, Gold Coast, Sydney etc etc) Plus the Tasmanian design i stole Preston's lion lol as i couldn't find a lion that is like the one on the Tasmanian flag.

They're all good except for the Canberra one, which looks like the logo of a government department from the 80's.

Canberra Deakin inspired me to use the flag pole design... plus used the colours of the W-League team.

Cool logos bro.

some more i made there is actually a lot of meaning behind Alice Springs' one so i can explain that if you want to know why i chose this for the fantasy club in FM

Resumed my United save and qualified for the ECL final against Madrid or City, qualified for the FA Cup Final against City and wrapped up the EPL months ago. Still a fair few games to go and Villa has just scored his 52nd goal of the season and Rooney his 43rd

East Meets west is why i used the double headed eagle. the ball is obvious. the 8 arrows are for each of the states and territories in the A-League and teh teams intention to travel and offer a fight and not travel and get beaten. (NZ isnt an arrow) and the shield is of the NT...

Alice Springs one is brilliant.

Grr. Had the chance to sign the best goalie coming up in the game (like 4.5 stars), for 4.7 million. Didn't have enough free wage budget (stupid board), to offer him what he wanted.

You tried putting the slider all the way down to 0 for transfers so they let you offer him more, and then putting it back up once you submit the offer?

No room at all lol. I was hoping by making it an "end of season" transfer I'd go through after I got my transfer budget next season. I think I was 100k a week out on wages, and 500k out of the signing bonus.

Slazenger might be knocking on my door if they saw Geelong's logo :lol:

Jesus Niles looks like a spastic and/or internet predator.

I never knew what he looked like, despite reading his work and talking with him on the forums many times. I don't think I'll look at him in the same way.

Nonetheless, this year's new features have me really excited. The only thing that worries me is perhaps the Agents could become tedius.

Just had one of my most epic FM wins ever. Away to Porto in the first leg of the second roud of the champions league. Eboue the fuckwit gets himself sent off after 30 seconds ](*,) Then scored in the 11th and 17th minutes to make it 2-0 at HT. Exploded in the second half, 3 goals to Van Persie in the second half and 4 for the match with one in each half for Balotelli for a 6-0 aggregate lead with 6 away goals :lol: All that while playing the whole match with 10 men.

Ive only just realised theres a Football Maneger section of this site.

I havent worked out how to be successful at it yet but im currently managing FC Twente (tho im still using FM09), sitting 5th atm with a young squad im building for a title challenge but still hoping to score some champs league action. Did just get an interesting offer to take charge of Rep or Ireland...but said no.
