Maybe it's just how you go about it? Do you set the bounty for the ECL to max?

I also usually give completely different teamtalks for the ECL to what I do in the EPL.

I'm managing Middlesbrough. That screenshot wasnt from me, though Boro's history suggests that they have no place whatsoever in winning a ECL :d

I'll have to try different pep talks, etc. Though on 2 out of the 3 games I've totally outplayed them but the goals just havent come.

Maybe you need to address the motivation of your strikers in the pre-game talks.

Signed Ben Arfa, Caceres, Woodgate, Defour and Kuschzak all on frees as well as getting Xabi Prieto, Matuidi, Coleman, Gibbs and Cavenaghi all cheap in my first two EPL seasons with Burnley. Spain have some real nice up-and-coming defenders in FM11. Pique, Alvaro Dominguez, Jose Angel, Alberto Botia, Azpilicueta and San Jose...that's quite a strong defence. Especially in the middle.

I can't seem to get into a game at the minute. Tried replaying with Peterborough and it wasn't as fun. Don't enjoy Spurs games cos I hate when I do shit with them. Anyone suggest a decent game where the board aren't bothered how much you succeed and is just fun?

Is anyone playing '11 with any new skins? I'm kinda bored with the stock one, but all the ones I look at screenshots for have taken away the calendar from the top of the screen. And I really find that feature to be handy.

The one I'm using still has the calendar at the top. Will post a screenshot in a bit.

In closer inspection, seems mine is just the stock skin but in black.

My FM11(steam) hasent worked for a month, so i uninstalled it then reinstalled it yesterday. Clicked on the icon and it worked.
Then i quit game and came back today and i clicked and it dosent work.
Someone please help me??/???/???/???/???//???//?!1!!11!!11!!!1!

If you update your computers drivers you shouldn't have this problem anymore. If that doesn't help, check the SI forums to see if anyone else has reported a similar problem.

I checked the SI forums there's been acually a lot of similar complaints, at first i though it was maintanence by SEGA or SI but its been a while so, ill check my drivers.

Turn on FM11 and this message comes up, "not well formed (invalid token) at line 1 at database_location.xml"

Sounds like a data edit has been corrupted. Uninstall and reinstall it.

If that's the case then do I just take my save game out of the FM11 folder and then re-use it later? Or is that gone?

Yeah, you can back up your save game and keep playing it afterwards.

Uninstalled it, removed every file that has to do with the game both in my Documents and Program Files and nothing happens when I try and re-install. Something about Steam validating files comes up but then nothing happens afterwards, while Steam still somehow has the game which still says the same message when I open it.

That's a probably a steam problem.

Delete client.blob (or client.bob I can't remember what the extension is) and restart.
