5-5 is an extremely rare scoreline, both in FM, and in real life for that matter.
This reminds me of a recent game I had in the CL semi-final.
NEC Nijmegen (me) vs Inter.
We had lost 3-2 at home, unsurprisingly.
We were trailing 3-1 at Inter, and I put on the rest of my subs at the 78th, went all out attack, and went and made myself a cup of coffee.
I came back, and couldn't come to grips with a scoreline that said 5-3 in our favour.
Huh?? what the hell happened?? and I missed it all!!

2-legged ties in FM are and always have been dark magic.

My Centreback just scored a Double Hattrick. 2 Headers from Corners, 1 from a FK and a Penalty. The touching thing is, the Penalty was his 3rd goal, and it was given to him, even though he's not on our list of penalty takers. Champion.

Quote:My managerial reputation says that I'm only continental even though I've won 6 EPL titles, 5 FA Cups and a few League Cups. I'm thinking that I could have won 15 EPL's and my status still wouldnt change to 'world class'. I guess you must have to win the ECL to be considered for that honour. World cup,, Euro, ECL or Europa League will get you 'world class' reputation. Quote:5-5 is an extremely rare scoreline, both in FM, and in real life for that matter. Thanks for clearing that up. Hadn't figured it out ourselves. Quote:My Centreback just scored a Double Hattrick. 2 Headers from Corners, 1 from a FK and a Penalty. He's scored two belters from range and a penalty has been given. Dzeko, Torres and Sneijder are on my penalty list and all on the pitch, but he takes the kick. Since I took over the italian job, Mario Balotelli has scored 8 goals in 6 appearances. And yet somehow Man City don't want him and sold him to Genoa for fuck all.

You'd have to pick specific teams. are you sure?... that doesn't sound right, when i attempted to do it i had to put in the league and how many teams

Can you designate which teams qualify in the specific league? I Don't remember.

I've had players on hattricks (namely Torres and Hernandez) who haven't taken the spot kick. I guess it just depends on how much people like the player.

Just won the league by 10 points over Phoenix. Qu Bo won PotY, Golden Boot and Foreign PotY. Scored 19 goals as well. Is a beast. Just played the first leg of the Major Semi, drew 5-5 in Wellington, Minniecon hatty had us 4-1 up and we fell apart. :( After that 5-5 all draw in Wellington, we lost 1-0 at home ](*,) but then beat the Roar 4-3 in the Prelim with us going 2-0 down after 20 mins only to storm back and have Tahj score a 92nd minute winner. Grand Final at Westpac. Drew 1-1, won 5-4 on penalties, played the last 3 games with a youth keeper coz Moss was on International duty, Lancini (youth Gk) saved a pen to win it for us! YEWWWW

I needed a backup, and he was available for cheap, so I nabbed him. But my No.1 keeper had a phenomenal season, so Bailly didn't get much of a look in. He then came and complained, and acted like a dick when I told him he was backup, so I was gonna sell him anyway. That poll was just the cherry on top:p

I remember one really awesome Tunisian, but not particularly. Scotland, Iran, New Zealand have all had really good regens in my save, aside from the big nations you'd expect.

Just demolished Wigan 8-1 at home after they opened the scoring. Lol'd when I saw I only had 41% possesion
And now an epic away win against Arsenal. They had 17 shots on goal to my 11. 9 shots on target to my 7. They had 64% possession yet I still somehow pulled out a 3-0 win.

Best player I've ever seen in FM came all the way from either Kyrgyzstan or Kazakhstan. I can't remember which, all I remember was it started with a K and ended in Stan. Still stands as the most talented regen I've seen. Finished my 4th season at Celtic, had a pretty damn good year. Won the FA Cup again, and Won the league without dropping a game, and also hit the 100 point mark, on the dot. 31 wins, 7 Draws. Carrying over from the season before, I haven't lost in Scottish football for 45 matches. Had a good run in Europe too. Was handed a tough group (Celtic, Real Madrid, Stuttgart and Legia), but managed to finish 1st, highlights being come from behind 2-1 wins over both Real and Stuttgart, at Celtic Park. Beat Porto 3-2 on agg in the R16, and then got pumped by Inter. Still a good run though. New seasons going to be interesting because Rangers had a takeover and now apparently have money, so they've been splashing a bit of cash. Myself meanwhile, I've had to sell to buy, and ended up using most of the money to boost wages. Out Shaun Maloney Daryl Murphy Kelvin Wilson Sylvester Igboun Marek Sapara In Alberto Aquilani (Free) David Bentley (Free) Samuel Eto'o (Free) Yoann Torre (850k - Regen Defender from Newcastle, 19 Years old, looks good) Should be able to defend the title fairly easily this season, unless Rangers mass spending comes off.
