None. I wasn't exactly happy. My team was so not ready for the EPL. It was their first season in the Championship
In any case, we lost the play-off semi 7-4 on agg. Didn't throw it, but just not good enough, came close, but they were always just out of reach, and two late goals killed the game off.

That's a hilarious outcome for a side that's been in the championship for all of a season.

Funky Munky wrote:Please tell me the goal was scored in the 90+4th minute :p 69th, a 25 yard direct free kick. About the only one we've scored all season. Nantwich - Championship 2020/2021 Media Prediction - 24th out of 24. Actual Position - 6th - Lost in play-off semi-final. This season wasn't even close to what I expected. I was expected a dire relegation fight, severe financial issues, and scraping survival. Instead our season was comprised of 4 major quarters and an epilogue. A brilliant start. A slump. A brilliant third quarter. A slump. Scraping into the play-offs. We'd win/draw 7 or 8 in a row. Then lose 5 or 6. Then win again. Then towards the end we started losing momentum. We lost a chance to secure a play-off spot with a loss to Huddersfield on the 2nd last league match-day. Then we played Cardiff. Winner takes all, the last spot in the playoffs. As you can see above, 1-0 win against all odds. So we were through. Drew 2-2 in the home leg. Then got smashed 5-2 in the away leg for a 7-4 agg loss. We fought to the end, but they were always threatening on the counter, and killed the match with two late goals. Financially we are in a much much better position. I managed to arrange some sweet friendlies, such as a Liverpool/Chelsea/Arsenal/Nantwich tournament. I sold off some not quite essential players, and that sorted our finances. With the payments given to us by the league we have nearly £10,000,000 in the bank. The chairman has been looking for new owners all season, and we are currently in our third transfer embargo. This time, another local businessman is looking to takeover, and suggests he'd clear our debts. The board has invested in our youth recruitment network. Our stadium continues to be on time, and should be open in time for Season 2022/2023 (one more year at the current stadium). I have cleaned out the crap youth and reserve players, and 4 players have come to the end of their contracts and are released. I have some good potential players coming in. Three 20 year old Italians on free transfers, a Good Premiership Potential Central Attacking Midfielder, a Leading Championship potential Striker/AMC, and a Decent Premiership potential AMC/MC/ST, a 16 year old good Premiership potential Danish AMC for 170k, and a Swedish 20 year old Leading Championship potential striker. Most of these are more speculative, but with some good development could very much become first team players. I'll be sorting out the rest of the squad soon, and deciding on where to invest. Qualified out of my UCL group. Drew Man City in the R16. Home leg first. Went 0-1 down early, pulled it back to 1-1. Then 1-2 down. Pulled it back to 2-2 in the 70th.
Went 2-3 down in the 82nd. Scored from the KO, 3-3. THen conceded 4mins later, 3-4. FT 3-4. Epic match but very disappointing to lose. Need to win by two at Eastlands, doubt it.
7 games left in the league, I'm leading PSV on goal difference. Signed Coutinho on a free, will come at the end of the year.

Opened up a 6 point lead on Feyenoord at the Christmas break. Last game was a 3-3 draw against Feyenoord after being down 3-1 with the equaliser coming in the 83rd min. Drawn Stuttgart in the 1st knockout round of the EL and then Rubin or AZ in the next round.

Won the title once again in my second season with Twente. Ended up 6 points clear of PSV in the end after the dropped some points.
Signed Gary Medel, Coutinho so far, and looking to bring in a MR and GK too. Took the Ireland job. Won the Four ass tournament. Sold Annan for 6mil to Bordeaux.

I lost to N.Ireland  But won with a confident 3-0 win over Wales.
Transfer summary: Brought in Guilerhmo Ochoa, Coutinho, Gary Medel, Matias Defederico who will all go into the XI.
----------------Dentinho------------ -------Diego Souza---Coutinho------ Belhanda------------------Defederico ----------------Jucilei-------------- Dodo---Medel---Douglas---Jonathan ----------------Ochoa--------------
Nobody over age 26 in my XI, nobody over 28 in my entire squad. 7 Brazillians in my XI, 1 Argie, 1 Mexican, 1 French, 1 Chilean.
Lost the Super cup 1-0.
UCL group: Arsenal Zenit Twente Red Bull Salzburg.
Very happy with that. Considering I could've got this group:
Real Madrid Lyon Celtic Palermo
Talk about a group of death. Ridiculous.
Sold Nicky Kuiper for 5.5mil which I thought was some pretty good business!!

Finished top in Portugal with Porto with 80 points which was 20 points more than was needed to win it the last 3 seasons. Sporting pushed us all the way before losing three games of the last four games and dropping behind Benfica. Both Sporting and us went on 24 match unbeaten runs in the league which included only one draw (the match between both of us). I was just offered the position of managing Australia but had to turn it down because I want to see how well I can do with Uruguay. Since taking charge they have destroyed the South American qualifying, with the exception of Argentina. I need 2 points from the last 5 qualifying games to guarantee qualification to the World Cup.

This predetermined shit really pisses me off.
I've been replaying a match vs Yeovil.
They are 24th. Dead last. Won 4 games all year. Scored only 25 goals in 37 matches (barely 1 goal every two games).
First time I played them, they destroyed me, 5-3.
After having their CB sent off after 20 minutes.
Absolutely ridiculous.
I've been replaying it for a couple days now.
My team simply cannot beat these guys. The game cheats and gives them a keep punt longball bug goal, or they come from 3 goals down at half-time, or they score 4 and I can't do shit.
I've just done another one. I scored 2 early, blew them off the park. After half-time they turn into Brazil, and end up back at 2-2. 87th minute we score a 3rd. So of course they score again in the 94th minute.
Fucking seriously pissing me off.
30 minutes later, still can't win.
FUCKING FINALLY. FUCK OFF YOU FUCKING ASSHOLES.

Back at FC Twente I let Bryan Ruiz go, but that's a win because I've picked up Romelu Lukaku for 4m (WIN!) and Oguchi Onyewu for 2.8m.
