Does anyone else always have Peterborough being promoted from league 1 into the Premier League after 3 or 4 seasons in every game?

Not always the first 3 to 4 seasons, but they always seem to get to the prem in ten years at the very most in my games.

I've done that a few times. I bought a young Brazilian RB for 3.3m from Santos three years ago, he had to go to Genk for a work permit, got it, he's now 21 and worth 17.25m. But generally I like to develop my own players.

It's 2018, and I've got 7 players club HG in my first team, it will rise to 8 or 9 next season depending on whether or not Gerrard retires and I've got 12 regen players 23 or younger playing regularly for my first team. Development is going swimmingly. I just have to figure out how to go about replacing Chiellini who's 33, losing his pace but holds the defence up a lot.

As I mentioned, it's 2018 in mine, they're 12th in the championship and have been a yo-yo team since 2011. Last season was the first season they consolidated their promotion.

In one of my saves Bristol Rovers, Swansea, Oldham, Cardiff, Barnsley, Peterborough, Southampton, Coventry, Forest and Carlisle were all in the Prem with my Oxford team :lol:

I've got Reading, Derby, Bristol City and Burnley in the EPL in mine...Burnley and Reading are both going down to be replaced by one of Sheffield United, Huddersfield, QPR or Stoke.

Bought Hulk in January, stuck him on the right as an inside forward. 7 games 3 goals 3 assists and 4 MoM awards.

I remembered why I don't play the A-League. It's just too easy. Honestly, anything short of topping your group and making the ACL semi is failure. Especially when the J-League isn't in the game.

Stoke won promotion this season. Their top scoring striker is in on loan, as is their main defender and first choice keeper...no options to buy. It's going to be an ugly season IMO.

That's the other thing that annoys me about the A-League. You win the league a couple of times and big names like Liverpool and Bayern come calling for you. WTF?

The rep system is fucked throughout the whole of FM.

After back to back promotions in the first two years, I got Peterborough United into the EPL. After a lot of transfers and wheeling and dealing, I had a squad that I thought would be able to make a top half finish.

Oh, how I was wrong. For the last four seasons I've escaped relegation on the last day of the season. The only players I can attract to the club are aging players who are past-it, or young players who haven't reached their full potential yet. As soon as I get a decent player who plays well for me, someone bids for him in January and the board go over my head and accept it. Pisses me right off.

I just pray that I manage to win the Carling Cup or the FA Cup and get some European football so I can maybe attract some better players. So far, no good though.

Just entered February with Cheltenham.. Top by 6 points atm. Made a profit of 500k in January by bringing in three quality players on frees and selling three for 500k.

Very happy how it's going, should get auto promo. Mostly thanks to my ML and Strikers. One in particular has 26 goals in 31 games, the other has like 15 in 27. The ML is an absolute beast, 16 pace, accell, balance and 17 agility. In L2 just rips it up.

I hate World Cup years fucking with my transfer plans.

I've spent over 10m in recent years on youth scouting and development....my youth players this season didn't have a single attribute higher than 15 and only 2 players had 1 attribute each that achieved that. Not impressed.
