Started a career with Guangzhou. Thought I would see how I could go with such rich bitches for owners. The 1 thing that shits me about China is the fact that the GK's have to be Chinese.
It means I can't buy Liam Reddy ;)

I have no idea what triggers it, but it was frustrating when it happens six months after you've just spend 4m upgrading.

Yeah mid 30's or so, I generally try and have one around the 30's, one early to mid 20's and one under 20...

Reina's 36 and starting to lose his physical attributes so I'm phasing him out and I've pretty much replaced him in the league with a 22 year old german regen called Lars Mutzel who appears to be the new Oli Kahn. I've got a 21yo brazilian in the reserves who's not half bad as a third choice, but I'm not sure what to do for back-up when Reina calls it a day. I've never really had to phase out a keeper before, so I wasn't sure if now was the right time.

Just make sure your other goalies have had some game time before phasing out Reina, to make sure they are up to it then chuck them in the thick of it. Then try and find an even younger goalie as a third back up...

I like to sign a young and promising keeper and play them in the League and FA cup matches so that they get match practice in. Mutzel's been at the club for 5 years and he's played 36 league games, 45 cup matches and 26 continental games (including club world cup games), so while he's not walking straight into the team, he's definitely got a big of experience under his belt for a guy who's 22. He's been my first choice in the league this season and kept 10 clean sheets in 12 matches. Fair stoked.

:\ what the fuck?
Steven Gerrard has set his retirement for the end of the season so I'm desperately trying to get him to score so he's the club's oldest goalscorer.

You should be able to accuse opponents of playing dirty when they injure your players in tackles.
Gerrard officially became Liverpool's oldest scorer, at 38 years, 158 days against Anderlect in a 4-1 victory.

I have no idea how it calculates the POTY...but once again Ronaldo has won (his fifth year out of six) despite four players with similar reputation (Pato, Watkins, Aguero and Madetoja) having better stats than he did #-o So frustrated that he's 33 and had an average year and yet still winning the fucking award.

Just to rub salt into the whole WPOTY thing...Ian Watkins last 4 games have seen him score 10 goals with an average rating of 9.06. FIFA can suck a fat one.

After 3 seasons of inconsistent results I've finally gotten promoted to League 2 with Bath City. Quite the effort in a season where my top scorer was a midfielder with 12 goals in all competitions.

Aurielo Vidmar just suggested that I use an Australian squad with only 4 players in it, 3 strikers and a goalkeeper.

So after getting Leeds promoted in 10/11, I then took them to an eighth place finish in the Premier League in 11/12. Had a desire to manage in the A-League, so I resigned with United mid-season and by the end of the 12/13 season a job at Melbourne Heart came up. Needless to say, I got the gig.
They finished ninth the season prior, and to be perfectly honest their squad is absolute rabble. Am currently in the process of cleaning out the team and aiming to hopefully replace them with some quality. What I am planning to do, is utilising Australian players only. Whether that is possible or not, remains to be seen...
Only in April and of course the season commences in August, so have plenty of time to build a squad. Have already signed Bouzanis (who is a great talent in this game) and Jess Van Strattan as his back-up. Released Bolton (37), Heffernan (32) and sold Matt Thompson (30) to some Norwegian club.
Disappointing thing is I only have until Monday, when I resume studies. #-o

For the last four years, Matthew Leckie has been labelled the 'Top Player' for Australia despite not having a single cap to his name. I got hit by injuries (my three right wingers were out injured) so I called him up...he scores a 6.4 on debut and a 6.5 in the next game. Go figure.
