You'd probably have to take on a 50m debt, but you'd clear half that in a season if you're playing in a 30k stadium and selling out anyway.

No debt atm, but I bet if they do a sizeable upgrade they'll have to take out a fairly hefty one.
Managed to get through January unscathed in regards to transfers. I had a host of clubs sniffing around my best players, and had a few bids for them. I vehemently told all comers to fuck off. Managed to turn a profit of 8million in January and still upgrade the squad. Leading EPL quality GK on a free, and a 3.5 star DM for 2mil improved both of those areas, as well as a 3 star striker for 600k. In March now, 30 games down, I'm in 15th. 7 points from the drop. I think I'll be ok. Hopefully we can push on for a top half finish next year, but I think that might be a bit optimistic. One was FC United, so I kept Gigg Lane all the way past League 2 and even League 1 iirc. This save I had two new stadiums. I got a new stadium of about 10,000 seats (expandable up to about 16,000) the last year I was in League One. Which meant I had a 16,000 seat stadium for about 17 years in the EPL.](*,) ](*,) ](*,) ](*,) If you have a really really shit stadium you might end up getting a new one in League Two. This puts most players on track for a new stadium around the time they would be breaking into the EPL.

In my save, Twente were in such a good financial state that we built the new stadium out of our back pocket - no debt.
Looking foward till it's built, but atm I'm really struggling with my St Pauli team,. now - 6 losess from 8 games when we were 3-1 to win the league.
Probably because only 2 players in my first team speak German...

Turn around from last season with AFC Wimbledon. Started with the expectations of fighting against relagation but after a very busy transfer period I am now 2nd in league 1 being 2 points and one game ahead of league leaders (so could be 5 points) but have a 6 point buffer to 3rd. Board not too happy as I am 5k over our 33k wage budget.

Chivu did, thankfully. Darragi and Azofeifa are in their second season and don't speak a word of dutch. Schelotto, Amelia and Diogo are getting there. All those players are playing some part in my first team, so to say form is stop-start would be an understatement. The guys who speak english all play really well together though :)

For some reason part of my team have trouble motivating themselves to play under my captain. Doesn't tell me who either.
The captain is 26 years old, has 20 influence, 16 determination, World Wide reputation with a "Leader" Personality" and has our top two strikers on favoured personnel, and pretty much everyone thinks those two guys are vital.
Have no idea where it's coming from, and without the detail of who, I can't do shit about it.

That's absolutely bizarre :? There must be some player who has him in the 'disliked' category. Maybe you'll just have to open up the RTE and go through each player in your squad to find a negative relationship with him :-k

There seems to be beef between Ronaldinho my captain and Gonzalo my keeper and most of the team dislike one or both of them. No-one likes my 2nd choice DM for some reason. My young 3rd choice ST is being hated on as well. I'm going to ditch Ronaldinho as captain. The DM is on his way out anyway at least 30 years old, contract expiring, contract I offered got rejected. Good. That sorted out the issue with people whinging about the captain. Replaced him with the new first choice DM. Ronaldinho had a cry about being replaced, but I said he did a good job and it was time for a change. Only issue is that the entire team has "PR" and think "I was too quick to change the captain". Except Gonzalo the keeper. Their morale went down to Okay pretty much across the board. Except for the keeper who stayed at Superb ( :lol: ) and the new Captain. So, I ended the season in 13th with Cheltenham. Very pleased with that for my first season in the top flight. Had the World Cup with France and won :) Conceded only one goal all tournament, and 9 out of the Dream Team XI were from my side :lol: Got back into the busy stuff with Cheltenham afterwards... sold my AML to AC for 10mil. Decided to switch to a 4-4-2 narrow diamond for this year. Managed somehow to get Martin Galvan on a free \:d/ 4.5 star. Only a week to go in the window and I've managed to keep hold of Andres Perez, my star MC. He's had a ton of clubs sniffing around but only one bid so far, and that was from Everton :lol: and I rejected. Only thing I want to sign is some DR and DC cover and I'll be perfectly set! In other news:  \:d/ \:d/ \:d/ Thank god. Bit of an upgrade from my current 5350 seat stadium :lol: Also, saw this which made me lol:  :lol: :lol: Also - how can I tell what the stadium will be named, and how much extra room for expansion there will be? Got sacked by Liverpool after I declared interest in the Rennes job. Weird thing is it was the first time I'd declared interest in another job :lol: Board's a bit touchy I guess.
Ohwell, already been offered the job at Chacarita Jrs, delayed it for a week to see if anything better comes up, if not I'll take it.
EDIT: Next day I get offered the Leicester job to take over from Sven and I am off to England :lol:

Ok so I am trying to figure out why Leicester sacked Sven. It's not as if he was doing horribly, we're only 3 points outside the play-off spots :lol:
Brought in a few loans on deadline day to tie me over till January. Brought in Chris Wood, Carl Jenkinson and Paul Pogba.

AFC Wimbledon are in the championship. Amazing season after just surviving relegation with two games to go we have come in forth. In 1st leg on play-off semi we played the Canaries (where we lost to 4-0 during regular season away) and infront of a 19k crowed both teams put on an attacking show. The final score was 6-6 and we were confident going home. At home it was a different game and no-one score in regular time (for some reason we didn't get through on away goals) or extra time. Come penalties the big Danny Kedwell slotted the winner after Holt missed his. off the the final against Yeovil. In a hard fought game we went 2-0 up before a strong comeback getting it to 2-2. A late goal though garenteed our promotion and the big Derby will be on next season (MK Dons vs AFC Wimbledon) but it wont be easy. Stadium upgrade on the way aswell (already 11k seating) so revenue should be good but big changes in our lineup as most of our bench is not where near championship level and will have to release them on the free.

UCL 2nd Qualifying round, playing possibly the toughest oppenent in the draw in Standard Liege. First leg in Belguim I lose 2-1, not bad, I've grabbed an away goal, who knows what could happen at home...  I did a lap of the house when Kilduff's goal went in!
