Won the A-League GF with GCU in my first season. Finished 3rd behind Perth and Newy, knocked off the Roar in Minor Semi, beat Sydney 2-0 in Minor Final, knocked off Newy 4-1 in the prelim and beat Perth 1-1 (5-4 on Pens) in the final! Stoked. Has anyone else found that when you add a league during the game that there are a lot of very very good players created that are massively undervalued in price and reputation?

Especially when you can hook it up to YouTube just as easily.

I added the MLS after having New England become a feeder team and they had a world class kid who I instantly paid whatever necessary to sign.

ECL Draw with Liverpool put me in a group with Real Madrid, Ajax and Napoli.
Meanwhile there's a group with Porto, CSKA, Panathinaikos and Dortmund. Get real.

Taking a break from study I've decided to resume my old FM09 Reading save which has been my favourite career to date. Just hit January and managed to make some good signings considering quality and price paid. Van der Vaart for 1.6 mil (From Stuttgart) Antonio Valencia for 1.3 mil (From a relegated Wigan) Marco Boriello 3.4 mil (From Milan) Charlie Adam 30k (From Rangers, only back up quality but has played three cup games for a goal and two assists) However I lost Laurito, who scooped EPL golden boot the season prior, on a free and at only 19. BUT Keirrison is coming next season to offest this Lining up --------------Foster------------- -Santon---Vermaelan-Bikey-Rosenior ---------Mascio--de Guzman/VDV--- --Valencia---------Saivet/Fleck-- --------Gignac-----Boriello------ So many wonderkids I picked up at the start of the game are starting to shine now, Saivet and Fleck are very solid young players and Mascio is the best midfielder outside the big four, probably best young player in the world atm and is only 19. Doyle and Gignac are sitting on 17 goals apiece at the moment and Boriello has five goals in six games. Team is currently sitting in equal seventh with City, Newcastle and Everton above on GD or within two points

Quit and deleted my united save. Got down to a final day showdown.
City/Everton. Arsenal/Southampon Me vs Liverpool.
I was a point behind both City and Arsenal after they both stumbled a bit and we kept winning.
Southampton beat Arsenal 1-0. City drew 0-0.
We lost 3-2.
At 2-2 with about 30 minutes to play, the game fucked up, on a free kick for Liverpool, none of my players bothered marking, left at least 3 Liverpool players free in the box, simple pass, Silva smashes it home. Costs me the title, because I'm certain I'd have scored to win the match instead of having to chase two goals. Basically ruined the save.
I loaded up a new save last night, Valencia. Will play it tonight.

I've had something similar happen, where it was a corner, and for some reason the oppo switched out 3 of their players, so they started in the right position, but then ran out of the box, and 3 other players switched in. The 3 of my players who were man marking, followed those players out of the box, but didn't tag onto the 3 incoming players, so it was 6 v 2 for the corner #-o

Rightio. Just gone out and bought FM12. Excite very much. Giggity. Installed it all fine, including steam, not a hitch. I go to open the game - message comes up saying "Preparing to Launch FM12"....then nothing. Game doesn't open. Click the icon again, it says game is already running, but it isn't. Any ideas?

Mine does that sometimes. Go to the task manager and end the football manager process(fm.exe). Then open the game.

5 seasons in and I've finally lifted Portstewart FC to the Norn Iron Premier Division. Pity I now need to keep them there...

Thinking of getting FM12 now that my uni work has slowed down a bit. I always hesistate on getting the new FM though.
Honest opinion on if it is worth it or not. Should I just stick with FM11? What are the big notable improvements and anything, that really should have been improved but hasn't?

Definitely worth getting FM12. A raft of changes have improved it significantly.

This Valencia save is a fucking disaster. I haven't won a single game out of the first 5, or the first CL match. Our morale is shit, the team won't play good because my rep is shit. I've got Bayern next.
