Just got FM12 today, got the AC on going to grab a few beers and hit it hard.

Aftet 1 and a half years I got offered the job at Port Vale.
They were on a 19 match losing streak and it took me until the 26th to halt it. After that I had a decent run but drew on the last day when we needed a win and was relegated.
It looks like I am going to have a completely new squad in the Blue square premier as my whole squad was on 1 year deals and they all refused to re-sign.

Possibly just had the most amazing thing I've ever seen on FM happen.

Messi was NOT nominated for the Ballon d'or. :lol:

On a side note, who is the 'worst' player you've seen nominated? Pato has been nominated with 10 Goals, 3 Assists and an Average of 6.86 across 31 games.

Another new one...

Radamel fucking Falcao. Bought him in the summer and he'd been scoring at a goal a game but in the last 5 games his form has just fucking exploded.

5 games, 15 goals. That's 3 against Everton, 3 against Fulham, didn't score against Sp*rs and then 4 against Bolton and 5 against Norwich.

That makes it 27 league goals in 21 games. 36 goals in 29 in all competitions and it's the 19th of January :lol:

Ally McCoist just told the press that we don't have the quality to win anything this year. Lol'n fair hard.

Pep Guardiola keeps saying I can't win the league, we're 9 points clear at the top with half the season gone and haven't lost a game yet.

Petr Cech has been nominated with an average rating of 6.88 from 40.
Ramos was nominated with 6.97. Both had very ordinary years.

That's a rule IRL mate.

Same rules apply in FM as they do in the A-League. You cannot buy a player from another A-League club.

Lost 1-0 to Rangers at Ibrox. Still on top of the table. Vilar had an absolute blinder too. Made FIFTEEN saves, including a few double saves, and got 8.8 rating. Amazing.

In previous FM's that rule is usually changed in the game anyway.

Beat Athletic Bilbao 3-1 on gg in the 2nd round of the Champions League. Got Olympiakos in the quarters and Real Madrid/Chelsea if I get to the semis.

:lol: I just notices Falcao has as many or more goals (37) than 11 teams :lol:

I hit a new low.

I got promoted to Cook Islands national team. Then Port Vale sacked because the team was only sitting in 5th after 10 games. Then Cook Islands sacked for losing 11-0 to New Zealand, 1-0 to Solomon Islands and 4-0 to American Samoa.

I thought I was going to be pretty much unemployable after that when Perth offered a contract.
I hadn't even applied for the job.:lol:

It's usually scrapped after a few seasons. I dunno if that happens in FM12.

Just had Falcao score his 40th league goal in his 32nd game. Still 5 games to go. 58 goals in all competitions so far.

Obscene scoring record. I'm kind of tempted to sign him to see how he goes for me, but I've already got Tevez, Aguero and Pato. And a couple of young lads who could be in the first team in a season or two.

Aint this just fucking great, right in the middle of a title run in in which I'm 1pt ahead of United with 6 games left and 2 behind Chelsea with a game in hand.

That 2nd goal was Falcao's 60th in all competitions in 50 games.

How do you play with just the Generic kits and logos Sydcro? I can't stand it.

I used to have em. Downloaded the megapack for logos and a shitload of kits, but my computer fucked up and I lost it all and couldn't fucked downloading it again.

Honestly if he leads me to both the title and the Champions League there is not a thing on this earth I would not do to that man :lol:

does it really make that much difference? It's only really aesthetics.
