Well I'm at Toulouse in my second season. But I'm using Toulouse as a platform to go to Sheffield Wednesday and at Wednesday I'm going to buy all the promising young Aussies and win the Premiership. With Toulouse I'm buying all the Aussies on a one year contract so with Sheffield's limited budget I can buy them all as a free agent.

Before that I was with Spurs for one season and left because I find staying with a club for more than one season a challenge. It gets so boring!

At the moment with Toulouse I've got Hearfield, Burns, Djite, Vidosic, Wilkinson, Spiranovic, ummmm, Zullo and others who I can't remember.

Oh yeah, I also sold Elmander (the Swedish international) for 18 million pounds!! Considering on the game he is only worth 10 million I consider this quite an acheivement.

After chronic fifaring for many years i realised i had never played all 15 seasons in a career and never gone through more than 2 seasons without moving on. Im now a Chelsea and am gonna try to stay there for fifteen seasons straight, im in my sixth so theres still a way to go.

FM kicks arse. FIFA Manager is pretty good too, especially if you enjoy watching the games in 3D. All it needs is a better 3D gameplay engine, a broader team and player database and more detailed features and it will be tops.

Espescially if you like watching little red and blue circles do laggy movements around a 2D pitch. Pffffft! Fifa anyday.

Maybe if you weren't so simple minded you'd realise that there's more to FM than 'little red and blue circles'. What's in FIFA? A thing called 'manager mode' in which the only 'manager related' thing you do only happens during August and January :roll:

You think you get a fifa coaching accreditation from FM or something? Fm is supposed to be a game right, yet it has no gameplay, what the fuck is up with that. Ill DL FM08 and see if its better than 07, ill also see if its as fun and challenging as you make it out to be.

The problem with FM is that we've only got the demo and it's so damn expensive if you live off pocket money!!

Sponsor- 32 million pounds over the season, from tickets i get 10 million pounds per season. plus i get bonuss if i do well.

PLayer wages, lol, 50 million pounds per season, which means to break even i have to make 8 million on the transfer market or dig into my 34 million spare.

It has gameplay. You probably don't play chess either because it's "boring". FM is more tactical and playing god and being able to control all yoru players in FIFA and PES bored me to shit when i was 12, i completely gave up on football computer games until I was introduced to FM05.

It's fucking cheaper than FIFA atm.

It's only laggy if you have a fuckin shit computer. And in FIFA, you can only do stuff right before matchday, there's no depth to the game outside of the match engine, and even that only appeases people with a god complex.

I Dled FM08 and i can confirm, its boring as all hell. Started with sheffield united played one game tryed to transfer some players, ffs jedinak turned me down. Theres to much shit on FM and it takes to long to learn where everything is, back to fifa for me.

Dos santos is supposed to come in 5th season every career in free agancy, i couldnt wait six years so i got him earlier. apparently you can bank on dos santos being there at that time.

You can't learn to play FM in a day, it takes at least a few days to get your head around it all once you start off. After that, it's all good!!! :)

Oh and BTW, unlike FIFA... you can't just buy players in the click of a finger. Transfers in FM and FIFA M are way more complex, they take into consideration many different situations such as the current contract, the attractiveness of the club, whether the club has a good atmosphere, whether you are a reputable manager... just to name a few :p

Well yeah, if you make him a shitty offer ofcourse he'll turn you down. Simple game for a simple mind. It takes about an hour to work out where everything is, and then it takes a day or two to work everything else out from there (like working tactics and signing players).

Considerations: Reputation of league, reputation of manager, reputation of club, repuation of players at club, transfer value, contract offered, appearance fee, length of contract, time of season, if the club is a rival to current club...and that's just off the top of my head, there are others but I forgot them,

All those are taken into account for fifa too though. Say youre playing english league 2, you struggle to sign anyone over 65 overall, its right that noone turns down chelsea and co.

Yeah, but in FIFA, i've signed Gerrard, Inzaghi, Ballack and Makelele for Melbourne Victory. You would never be able to do that in FM. I'm yet to do so at any rate, the best i've done is Leto, and that was all luck.
FIFA also doesn't have appearence fees, the players dont' negotiate either. There's just so much less depth.

Yes but fifa has 3D gameplay. Merge the two and youve got a deal.

FIFA Manager has 3D gameplay (albeit very shit), and you can even play as a player, kinda like 'Be a Pro mode in FIFA 08 (which is even worse). Once FIFA Manager improve their 3D engine and the depth of the game reaches FM standards, then you've got a winner.

While the aspect of 3D gameplay is appealing, in taht it would make it much easier to judge on fouls and red cards that are dubious. But then at the same time, the simplicity of the dotsdoes have merrits, it means you can sum up everything that is going on in merely a glance.

I wasnt getting owned. We got to a happy-medium of fifa gameplay and FM off field issues, thats actually what i suggested fifa do on their site a few pages back.
