My 3rd season with Persidikab went great, stayed in the top 4 for most of the first half of the season, but a bit of a weird slump with my tactic basically failing and causing my team to keep getting dominated by weak ass teams cost me any chance of breaking into the top 4 at the end of the season for playoffs, and also ko'ed us at the quarters of the Indo cup.

This probably going to be my last season there.

well we stayed up, ended up in 9th spot with 46 points (13 wins, 7 draws, 18 losses, -13 GD)

very happy with that. we didn't cause any upsets in the later part of the season, but we won all of the games that we were expected to :)

I just CANNOT beat my Fierce Rivals Persik Kediri.

Persik have won 5 from 6, and the other was a draw.

I decided to stay on for another season, minimal signings (although I'll be strengthening the defence soon enough) and we lost our first game (to Persik ffs), then won 9 (and 2 draw) from 14, with 3 losses from 14 games. 29 points, and 1st. Persik 2nd on 28. Just lost the 8 game unbeaten run against Persik again.

So out of the 3 losses, 2 of them were from Persik.

im with cardiff. i have got nashat akram, john aloisi and addo (from psv) on frees. all the other signings have been young guys from the top four teams in england. people like vander berg and anothny grant

I was watching FA cup highlights on espn and it turns out hes the guy that scored to take cardiff to the Fa cup final. Hes a keeper, you should also start him. Some players you should look at: Boumsong, joao victor, lulihna, bily sharp, kenwyne jones. You hafta hafta hafta get aaratilo or whatever hes called, dor malul, plessis, eden hazard, tiaga ribeiro, sergio from atletico mineiro, also get sean preston from chelsea if hes around that early in the game, hes worth A$20mil when hes 19 and is EPLs leading scorer.

Started at Bristol Rovers in League one. First season we finished safely in the mid table, Next two seasons we reached the playoffs, and were promoted the second time round. Spent all of last year in the relegation spots in the championship, only to survive by a point on the last day. Halfway through this year, we're 10th, after being 4th at one stage. However I'm leaving, because for the third time, my chairman has sold one of my talented youngsters. First two were awesome keepers, this time it was my 18 year old striker, who was absolutely dominating (In one game scored a hat trick in 18 minutes, after coming off the bench). Don't know where I'll go yet. Looking forward to a new team, with a chairman who actually wants us to go somewhere.

second season in the SPL and we're looking like we're gonna get relegated. 13 points after 19 games has us in last place, 4 points behind inverness. transfer market is opening in a couple of days so hopefully i can spend some of the cash i've got from selling a few half decent youngsters on some established players to keep us in the top flight. fingers crossed!

LOL, aussie coaches really go places in this game. Ron smith is an EPL club manager whore. Hes been at about 3 clubs in 3 years. Kossie is at fulham atm, just beat him 2-1.

How do you sell players? I transfer list them but they never get any bites. When i offer to clubs i usually cant get rid of them that way either even if im charging less than their value.

mine's upto 21 hours actual play time.

clubs have to actually WANT your players. you have to transfer list them, set their status to "not needed" and wait and hope for bids...

It's a fucked up transfer module.

You want an AI player = 4/5 times the value.
AI want your player = They won't pay over half the value.

It was bad enough in 07, it just go so bad in 08 it's one of the reasons I stopped playing.

My career game (starting with Persidikab in Indonesia), is now up to 1st August 2010 in-game, and is 4 days, 6 hours and 1 minute in real-time. "Real football managers don't need food".

I'm heading for the last half-dozen games of season 4, and have just been appointed Australia U-19 Manager.

Australia recently came last in their World Cup Group, losing 2 games and drawing 1, vs Holland (Q), Norway (Q), Cameroon.

The last game vs Norway was a travesty, Australia losing 2-0 despite having dominated the match, norway only had 4 shots the entire game, 2 went in (35th and 75th) against the run of play and Australia had 13 with 6 on target and no goal.

I blame Graham Arnold. Who "stepped down" in the aftermath.

Other notable events include England beating Italy on Penalties (6-5) after a 2-2 Draw with Walcott scoring a 93rd minute equaliser (his 1st ever goal for England apparently) with a diving header.

Then, somewhat funnily, Bent scored BEFORE Walcott (40 seconds after extra time started, putting his goal at 90:39 and walcotts being 93:35) in Extra time. Gilardino scored both for Italy. Also, Brazil lost to Chile 3-4, Portugal to Mexico in the 2nd round.

Chile p 1-1 Mexico, England 0 - Argentina 3 (Messi, Milto, Palacio), France 1 - Spain 1 p (Torres and Trezuguet), Ghana 1 - Germany 2 (Podoloski, Fritz) in the Quarters.

Chile 0 - Germany 2, Argies 1 - Spain 0 (Messi again).

Final was Germany 0 - Argies 4 (Messi, Aimar 2, Zarate).

Playing Celtic in the Euro Cup with St. Pauli and I dominate the entire game. I go down 0-1 to an Andy Caroll strike then I level it up immediately with Ngyued Quang Huy then after having pegged Celtic back into their own half with Gorlitz having plenty of room to roam from right-back I go up 3-1 just after half time as Quang-Huy sealed his hat-trick.
I continue to dominate and one of Celtic's CB's nicks a goal at a corner, then somehow Andy Caroll scores again from an offside position and for some ungodly reason Derek Riordan manages to snatch a winner at the death to make it 3-4. I cannot fucking believe that I lost, I was in complete control of the game.

EDIT: By complete control I mean 60% posession and about 20 shots on target.

When i search for players with expiring contracts im looking for players that i can "approach to sign", sometimes players dont have that option when you click on them. Why is this and how do i know before clicking their name.

We decided to try and make it work...for the sake of the children.

I've ahd some success selling players in both. Sold Lucas for 20mil +10% in 08...but on the other hand, I've had some real trouble selling players, Couldn't even get rid of Kuyt for 1mil. Selling players has always been a real pain in the arse. But you can usually get away with a decent fee buying players. I only paid 18mil for Alves and 10mil for Lulinha off Schalke...and then there was the 10mil for Inter's Adriano...best 10mil I ever spent hands down. Sometimes it's a pain in the arse though. Granted.

When you filter for players with expirinc contracts, it brings up all players whose contracts expire within 12 months, you can only approach players whose contracts expire within 6months. The best thing to do then is to put a minimum price limit on the players you filter and then select "View" > "contract" and then click the "expires" column so that the ones with the shortest date are brought to the top.

But theos expires in 2 months and i cant approach him.

Semi-Final curse has progressed to yet another save. I think I'll have to burn this PC in fire to prevent it spreading to whenever I get another PC. I've lost like 95% of the semi-finals I play in my last 3 career saves.

Just got knocked out of the Indonesia cup in the semi, 3-1 or Agg or something equally bad.

Was 1-0 in the first leg (stupid own goal when the ball was going to go right past the goal and there was no opposing player within miles), then we concede a moronic penalty off a corner for "tripping" when the ball was going out, becomes 2-0 in the last 20 seconds of the match.

I realised most of their play was going through their MC Suhanto or something, so mid-way through the 1st leg I stuck a DMC to tight man marking.

Kept that up for the 2nd leg. 30 minutes in Suhanto scores a 30 yard thunderbolt with the guy I set to tight man-marking having run to the guy he played a 1-2 within instead of staying with his mark.

Their goals were a stupid own goal, a stupid penalty and a stupid defensive error leading to a scholes-esque power drive.

Won 1, lost 2 (****ing persik again), and finished 4th in the Second Phase Group B Table. Despite finishing 1st and having the 2nd best record in the entire 28 team league, we were seeded "50th" and drawn first, and got 2nd, 2nd and 3rd to play, when the other team got 3rd, 4th and 4th to play against.

As usual, the reputation causes my team to play like ****, even though I have 4 players in the team of the year, the Top Goalscorer, the Player of the Year, Young Player of the Year (and 3rd) my team simply not good enough in the top 8 Roll Eyes

Have a meaningless Indonesia Cup 3rd place match in a few weeks.

I've had mixed results. I'm in the 9th-11th position and that's where Ipswich is predivted to stay. I was actually in the play-off zone once!
