Is it The Fink? I recall you being proud you got a mention in one of his blogs a while back.
van't Schip said he wanted to focus his foreign spots on strikers yet hes already signed Hoffman, Babalj and this rumour of Aloisi.

Interesting decision by the Heart if true...I would've thought Adelaide would be more likely.

Joffa wrote:Interesting decision by the Heart if true...I would've thought Adelaide would be more likely. I'm wondering if Aloisi and/or even Adelaide would even be interested, given the bad terms on which his bro, Ross, left the club. That's partly why he didn't join AU in the first place - though obviously Sydney's pay check was pretty damn good. Things are different now though - for both Aloisi and Adelaide United and I'm sure there's some water under the bridge for the Aloisi's and AU, but you never know. I don't think Adelaide United can afford to ignore the likes of Aloisi, a still talented, highly experienced, Aussie striker - That's worth it's weight in gold as far as Adelaide United is concerned, and tbh the present Aloisi is still a far better option than what they have got now (Used two VISA spots on them too). And John Aloisi's bargaining power is far less than it was when he signed up as Sydney's pricey Marquee. He can hardly pick and choose contracts wise - though no doubt he would still draw a fair bit of interest, not only A-League wise, but clubs in Asia even. I think Aloisi signing up with Adelaide United would be a great tale. One final kick on, before he retires, and maybe mending some fences too, for his bro. The Adelaide boy come home, leading the line when they need it most - It would be a perfect fit, and could work out well for both parties - especially considering how he's done with Sydney FC this season, with his fitness especially. You can see he is still threatening for one more good season, where he may actually score a few.

Don't worry, Heineken, we'll tell them where to go.
Oh and I seriously hope Aloisi does not come to the Heart. No thanks.

A good move for Aloisi if it comes to fruition, reckon the "Heart" could get a bargain with Johnny.

TWG wrote:John Aloisi will end his playing career with Melbourne Heart after signing for two seasons with the A-League's newest club.
Neither Heart nor Aloisi have confirmed the deal but sources close to the Melbourne club have revealed exclusively to The World Game that the A-League's highest paid player - currently on a record $1.2 million-a-season deal at Premiership winner Sydney FC - has agreed to a two-year worth deal $120,000 a season.
The deal also includes the prospect of Aloisi joining the club's coaching staff at the end of his playing spell.
Aloisi's career has spanned five countries and 10 clubs, his most fruitful spell a five-year stint at Osasuna in the Spanish Primera Division. He has been capped 55 times for Australia, with 27 goals. In 37 matches for Sydney FC, Aloisi has scored 11 goals - nine of them this campaign.
News of Aloisi's departure to Heart comes hot on the heels of his Sydney FC teammate and goalkeeper Clint Bolton inking a multi-year contract with the A-League's newest franchise. Simon Colosimo is also believed to be close to a deal with the club.
Heart is also set to announce the signing of Rutger Worm from Dutch first division side NEC Nijmegen.
The 24-year-old Dutch midfielder has played 92 Eredivisie matches and would likely fill a striking role
