i think moving to a top half prem side is a bridge too far for him. don't mind players being ambitious, but if it's at the expense of playing time, then better off with a modest team in the prem and work your way up (just like Mark Schwarzer did). not lose years of development sitting on the pine watching hacks like Gomes strut his stuff (although if Fed were to make the move, i think he could easily challenge for the no.1 spot for tottenham).
Fed is only in his mid twenties, so realistically has another 12+ seasons in him. no need to rush. but ideally, i would like to see him in the prem next year (playing regularly), it would take his game to another level. we've seen glimpses of him taking it up a notch against Manu (first match anyway), Liverpool etc
