[-x Bear Grylls is God's god

He was a man of specific quirks. He believed that all meals should be earned through physical effort. He also contended, zealously like a drunk with a political point, that the third dimension would not be possible if it werent for the existence of water.

Nice =d> !

Anyway, I don't think there are organisms smaller than what we can already see.. Even a single celled organism is made up of millions upon millions of atoms, which on their own, really don't do anything remarkable. Though in saying that, it's not possible for us to visually inspect a singular atom (we're limited to a few techniques where we can "map it out" only)..

So I suppose it'd be possible, and if anyone did discover it, it would be huge..

More UFO alien sightings revealed

* From: The Daily Telegraph
* March 24, 2010 1:52PM

FIRST a woman photographed strange flying discs descending on a busy Sydney street - now Daily Telegraph Online reporter Dora Tsavdaridis has told how she spotted a UFO while on a beach holiday.

Mother-of-two Fiona Hartigan captured the imagination of the nation after sunset snaps taken in Chipping North on Sunday were printed in the Daily Telegraph today.

"As I was about to take the picture this black object appeared and then it started to move," she said.

"It started off about 800m away but it came closer - to about 400m - and then two other little round things appeared from this bright orange light above.

"There was no noise. It was calm and peaceful but it was very weird."

And she's not alone. Ms Tsavdaridis says she will never forget her own close encounter on the Greek island of Mykonos.

Blogging with the DT Online she said: "It was about the size of a star and it looked like it was far away. At first I thought maybe it was a plane, but there were no blinking lights, just this one red light. Plus, it was too far away to be a plane.

"It definitely wasn’t a bird or Superman either.

"The sky and the area around us was so dark, the red spot was very clear as it travelled horizontally across the sky for about three minutes and then disappeared.

"We were all blown away by it, we stood there for a few minutes trying to grasp what we saw.

"At the time we thought it was most likely a comet or something similar but after looking into it, there were no reported comets that were visible to the human eye on that date. Plus I’ve seen a comet and they usually have a tail of some sort - this definitely didn’t."

UFO Research NSW spokesman Doug Moffett says there are between 1000 and 1500 UFO sightings in Australia alone every year, "but that is just the tip of the iceberg".

"It could be some electrical anomaly that no one has ever seen, it could be an extra-terrestrial craft, it could be something else," he said.

"Why would anyone make these stories up? They are setting themselves up for ridicule."

Readers were quick to indundate our website with theories on Ms Hartigan's find, with some insisting her camera was simply dirty - while others are adamant it was the real deal.

Al Yorke, of Wollongong, reckons he saw the mysertious objects as well.

"I saw three objects that match this description well enough," he said. "On Saturday night about 8.15pm in Woonona they were elevated at about 30 degrees off the coast horizon and moving slowly southeast and upwards.

"They were similar shapes to what has been described here but being at night, I could not identify any surface area - they were all emitting the same orange glow that resembled a naked flame viewed at distance. The furthest one began slowly descending and disappeared, the next two followed suite shortly after.

"I witnessed them for about two minutes. I mentioned it to my wife and a mate, and didn't think much of it until I see this in the paper today! What the? I can't explain what I was looking at."

And Marta, of Moorebank, added: "I live near there and I must admit you do see some strange things about in the night sky - and they're not planes landing. I'm not surprised by this lady's pics."

But Patrick, of Sydney, was a touch more downbeat, saying: "Probably the Government has something to do with this, wasting all our money with all these nonsense. No wonder we're struggling economically!"

Tassie UFO reports

HELEN KEMPTON

March 26, 2010 12:13pm

THE chances of anything coming from Mars really are a million to one, says astrologer Chris Arkless.

While Mr Arkless believes the universe is home to other life forms, he said human understanding of travel meant there was nowhere nearby for visitors to Earth to come from.

"It would be a bold and foolish person who claimed there has never been or is not still life on Mars but we are talking bacterial forms of life, not little green men," Mr Arkless said.

"It is impossible to travel faster than the speed of light, under our current understanding. Alpha Centuri, the closest star is 4.3 light years away so there is nowhere for aliens to come from to hover over Earth.

"That does not mean there is not life elsewhere but just that that life could not visit here."

Mr Arkless said a photograph received by News Limited of a UFO in the sky on the Lyell Highway between Queenstown and Hobart was a hoax which had been created through computer technology.

The photograph was allegedly taken on Janaury 3 near the Franklin and Alma Rivers.

"It does not look like an aircraft and if you zoom in you can see the pixels are different around the supposed UFO," he said.

Mr Arkless said reported UFO sightings came in waves and none reported in Tasmania have been verified as alien craft.

In December last year unusual lights in the sky over Hobart sparked a wave of concern that a plane was about to crash but a Tasmanian UFO hunter said it was probably a meteor or space junk.

The source of the mystery lights remains unknown and Tasmania Police took dozens of calls from people around the state who saw the lights heading south.

Ten months earlier, there were reports of strange lights over Launceston

The TasUFO Centre, which has investigated hundreds of sightings since it was established in 1965, interviewed people who saw the lights but did not comet to any solid conclusion.

'I am a child of the space age myself and when I was a little kid I joined a local UFO spotting group," Mr Arkless said.

"The sightings usually ended up being Venus.

"Obviously there are going to be unidentified flying objects in the sky such as unidentified aircraft, but it is highly unlikely any are from outer space."

Fighters filmed chasing UFO

TWO fighter jets are filmed whizzing over the M5 - apparently in pursuit of a UFO.

A mystery cameraman took footage of the military aircraft chasing the shiny orb.

The 30-second clip is believed to have been taken from a West Midlands service station car park.

Expert Nick Pope, who probed UFO sightings for the MoD, said: "This is one of the best videos I've seen. It could be a new drone - that might explain the military jets.

"But you don't normally test-fly secret projects in daylight. Alternatively, this could be the real thing - a UFO in our airspace and military aircraft scrambled to intercept, probably due to it being tracked on radar."

The MoD refused to comment on the alleged sighting, but confirmed it would scramble jets to meet an air threat.

West Midlands Police said: "We are not aware of any reports of unidentified aircraft near the M5."

UFO visit terrifies Top End family

ANNIE SANSON

April 25th, 2010

A TERRITORY family has told how they held their breath when a UFO hovered over their home.

It was around 8pm on Friday when Susan Clarke, of Howard Springs, heard her partner yell out to her "to come out quick".

"Myself and the lad were sober, and we saw a huge spherical object that was moving horizontally across the night sky very slowly," Ms Clarke told the Sunday Territorian.

"It was amazing and unnerving at the same time.

"It was glowing red, orange and gold - none of us had ever seen anything like it before."

Ms Clarke said she grabbed her camera, but didn't manage to capture the mysterious flying object in a photo.

"I was shaking just looking at it, it was very eerie and made my knees weak."

The Howard Springs resident said she watched the UFO for about three or four minutes, together with her partner and his 16-year-old son, before the object took off into the night.

"It veered off at a right angle, then in another direction, then just shot off at a great speed (and) disappeared.

"We rang friends and asked if they had seen anything and we were totally shaken up by the experience."

The UFO is far from being the first to be seen in the Territory.

Only three weeks ago, UFOs had been spotted stalking the site of the proposed NT nuclear waste dump at Muckaty Station.

In March, a Queensland businessman had an eerie encounter with "bright lights zipping around the trees" when he visited the NT's alien hot spot Wycliffe Well.

In June 2008 the community of Marlinja came to a standstill when UFOs descended on the town.

Aliens exist but they may be dangerous: Hawking

April 26, 2010 - 8:59AM

Aliens may exist but mankind should avoid contact with them as the consequences could be devastating, British scientist Stephen Hawking warned Sunday.

"If aliens visit us, the outcome would be much as when Columbus landed in America, which didn't turn out well for the Native Americans," said the astrophysicist in a new television series, according to British media reports.

The programmes depict an imagined universe featuring alien life forms in huge spaceships on the hunt for resources after draining their own planet dry.

"Such advanced aliens would perhaps become nomads, looking to conquer and colonise whatever planets they can reach," warned Hawking.

The doomsday scenario is suggested in the series "Into the Universe with Stephen Hawking" on the Discovery Channel, which began airing in the United States on Sunday.

On the probability of alien life existing, he says: "To my mathematical brain, the numbers alone make thinking about aliens perfectly rational.

"The real challenge is to work out what aliens might actually be like."

Glowing squid-like creatures, herds of herbivores that can hang onto a cliff face and bright yellow predators that kill their prey with stinging tails are among the creatures that stalk the scientist's fantastical cosmos.

Mankind has already made a number of attempts to contact extraterrestrial civilisations.

In 2008, American space agency NASA beamed the Beatles song "Across the Universe" into deep space to send a message of peace to any alien that happens to be in the region of Polaris -- also known as the North Star -- in 2439.

But the history of humanity's efforts to contact aliens stretches back some years.

The US probes Pioneer 10 and 11 were launched in 1972 and 1973 bearing plaques of a naked man and woman and symbols seeking to convey the positions of the Earth and the Sun.

Voyager 1 and 2, launched in 1977, each carry a gold-plated copper phonogram disk with recordings of sounds and images on Earth.

Are aliens about to invade Australia?

* From: Northern Territory News
* April 29, 2010

A MASS of UFO sightings has Territorians wondering if we are on the brink of an alien invasion.

There have been seven separate Top End UFO sightings reported in the past week. Hardly a night has passed without a sighting of some "unexplained phenomena" since the first sighting last week.

Almost all of the sightings have been in Darwin's rural area.

The first sighting was reported by a woman who wanted to be identified only as Shirel on April 21.

She said she saw the strange lights from her Humpty Doo home hovering over Howard Springs.

"The lights were really low in the sky, really bright, with flashing dots," she said.

"Three of them formed a semi-circle and they hovered over the area for at least half an hour."

Do UFOs exist?

There were three separate sightings on Friday night including British backpacker Kylie Myers who said she had "never believed in anything like UFOs" before her strange encounter.

The 27-year-old tourist said she turned into a "believer".

Ms Myers said she stopped her car on the side of the road to grab her camera from the glovebox, but the light disappeared.

"It was pretty spooky."

There were more sightings at Coolalinga on Saturday, Acacia Hills on Sunday and again in Howard Springs on Tuesday.

But astronomer Geoff Carr yesterday told the Northern Territory News he was "far from believing any of this UFO stuff".

"Unless aliens have found a way to travel faster than light speed, it's a doubtful thing to believe they came to visit us," he said.

Mr Carr said he believed 99.9 per cent of all the UFO sightings could be explained as simple weather phenomena.

Just throwing this out there...but this wouldn't have anything to do with the fact that NASA have been running test launches of a completely harmless probe designed to mesure gamma radiation in the upper atmosphere all week, would it?

Marty, from a military tactical perspective it makes perfect sense for aliens to establish a solid base in the middle of nowhere for further expansion rather than to invade a major city and face hoards of humans.

'Dog killed by Yowie'

MATT CUNNINGHAM

April 21st, 2009

FIRST it was UFOs, now it's feared Yowies could be on the loose in Darwin's rural area.

A Territory Yowie researcher believes the Big-Foot-like beast could be responsible for the recent death of a dog south of Darwin.

The dog's owners believed their seven-month-old puppy, which had its head ripped from its body, was mauled to death by dingoes.

But Andrew McGinn, who has been researching Yowies in the Top End for more than a decade, said it was possible the hairy ape-type beast was responsible for the attack.

"The way the guy's dog was killed was typical of a Yowie," he said.

"I know it sounds fanciful but over the past 100 years, dogs get killed or decapitated and people report feeling watched, having goats stolen or seeing some tall hairy thing in the days beforehand."

In the late 1990s there were several reports of Yowie sightings around Acacia Hills.

In August 1997, mango farmer Katrina Tucker reported being just metres away from what she described as a hairy humanoid creature on her Acacia Hills property.

Photographs of the creature's footprint were taken the next day and examined by the Northern Territory Museum, which concluded that Ms Tucker had been hoaxed.

But Mr McGinn said after speaking with Ms Tucker he had no doubt her story was true.

"After I met this lady I found she was clearly terrified," he said.

Carpenter Darryl Campbell reported seeing a similar creature near Adelaide River in 1998.

Mr McGinn contacted the Northern Territory News after reading a report that Acacia Hills resident Alan Ferguson had spotted UFOs flying around his home.

He said the area seemed to be home to a lot of unusual activity.

"I have been here for 16 years and I hear time and time again reports of these strange things around Acacia Hills," he said.

But Mr Ferguson said he had never seen a Yowie.

"I only see things scootin' around the sky, I don't see hairy monsters," he said,

"But if that's really true, what's next, dinosaurs running around the streets?"

Russian MP calls for UFO probe

Thu, 06 May 2010 01:47:47 GMT
Kirsan Ilyumzhinov

A Russian MP has called for an investigation into a government official's claims that he had contact with extraterrestrials.

On April 26, Kirsan Ilyumzhinov, the leader of the southern Russian region of Kalmykia, told a prime time television show that he was taken to a spaceship sent to Earth by extraterrestrials.

Ilyumzhinov told television host Vladimir Pozner on Russia's Channel One that he had spent several hours in the company of aliens.

He said they visited his apartment in downtown Moscow on September 18, 1997.

"I believe I talked to them and saw them. I perhaps wouldn't believe it if it wasn't for 3 witnesses — my driver, my minister, and my assistant," who were apparently in the apartment at the time, Ilyumzhinov told the television host.

Ilyumzhinov said the aliens gave him a tour of their spaceship and said they had come to Earth to take samples.

On Wednesday, Russian parliamentarian Andre Lebedev called for an inquiry into the claims and wrote a letter to Russian President Dmitry Medvedev raising a list of his concerns.

In his letter he said that — assuming the whole thing was not just a bad joke — it was a historic event and should have been reported to the Kremlin.

He also asked if there are official guidelines for what government officials should do if contacted by aliens, especially if those officials have access to state secrets. http://www.presstv.ir/detail.aspx?id=125589§ionid=351020602

Have aliens hijacked Voyager 2 spacecraft

* From: The Daily Telegraph
* May 12, 2010

IT left Earth 33 years ago, now it's claimed the Voyager 2 spacecraft may have been hijacked by aliens after sending back data messages NASA scientists can't decode.

NASA installed a 12-inch disk containing music and greetings in 55 languages in case intelligent extraterrestrial life ever found it.

But now the spacecraft is sending back what sounds like an answer: Signals in an unknown data format!

The best scientific minds have so far not been able to decipher the strange information – is it a secret message?

Alien expert Hartwig Hausdorf said:"It seems almost as if someone had reprogrammed or hijacked the probe – thus perhaps we do not yet know the whole truth" Read more in Bild

Engineers are working to solve the data transmissions from the Voyager 2 spacecraft near the edge of the solar system, NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory said today.

The spacecraft late last month began sending science data 8.6 billion miles to Earth in a changed format that mission managers could not decode.

Engineers have since instructed Voyager 2 to only transmit data on its own health and status while they work on the problem.

Launched in 1977, Voyager 2 and its twin, Voyager 1, explored the giant planets Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune and kept on going. Nearly 33 years later, they are the most distant human-made objects.

Voyager 1 is 10.5 billion miles from Earth and in about five years is expected to pass through the heliosphere, a bubble the sun creates around the solar system, and enter interstellar space.

Voyager 2 will follow after that.

British UFO Hacker Gary Mckinnon: What did He Find at NASA?

By Grant Lawrence

Gary Mckinnon wanted to know what the US government knows about UFOs. He also had a suspicion that the US had advanced energy systems that could be used to help humanity.

So he made a big mistake.

He hacked into US government military and NASA computers in order to find out. Mckinnon says that it was quite easy to hack into US government computers and he is no genius.

Eventually Mckinnon got caught. Or he says he told the government about the security lapses. He is now facing extradition to the US where he might spend the rest of his life in US prisons. The computer hacker is being painted by the US government as the most dangerous hacker of all time.

Mckinnon says he was just trying to get a glimpse beyond the technological iron curtain of the US National Security State. He was not trying to harm anyone.

There have been numerous attempts to stop Gary Mckinnon’s extradition to the US and so far it looks as if he will lose. Unfortunately, Mckinnon and his family say that he suffers from Asberger’s Disease and he is a shy and emotionally frail man. All that know him say he wouldn’t hurt a fly.

But what is making the US government so adamant about bringing Mckinnon to justice in the US?

Maybe it is because Gary Mckinnon spilled the beans on what he saw and he shouldn’t have.

What was Gary Mckinnon looking for at NASA?

“Suppressed evidence of reverse engineered UFO technology, free energy that would help to stop climate change and would help to stop old age pensioners from dying of cold… and also evidence of anti-gravity, he says”What did Gary Mckinnon find?

“A space fleet and an impressive UFO and a total lack of Nasa and military internet security, which I found truly shocking which is why I alerted them via cyber notes,” he says.

Mckinnon has said consistently in numerous interviews that the US has advanced Space Fleets that are capable of star travel. He has never backed down from his assertions. Maybe Mckinnon has not said all he knows.

So as the Gulf is flooding in oil, Mckinnon says he found advanced technology that is helping American Star Fleets travel through space. It could be that this secret technology could easily be moving the world off fossil fuels in the present, but that would mean there is too much oil that will be left in the ground.

Secret technologies are evidently supposed to be secret no matter how it would benefit humanity.

Gary Mckinnon will likely pay the ultimate price for his curiosity and good intentions with decades of jail time in the US. Gary and his family say that it will kill him.

Perhaps Gary is not the one that should be in jail.

Cops investigate NT UFO invasion

NIGEL ADLAM
May 27th, 2010

A FULL-SCALE alien invasion of the Northern Territory has begun.

Astronomers and police say that the flares seen across a 360km-long stretch of the Top End coast were probably caused by a meteor shower.

But highly-qualified UFO-ologists said they believed the bright lights were space ships on a pre-attack scouting mission.

Darwin-based UFO expert Alan Ferguson said the flares were obviously aliens. "This all sounds like UFO activity," he said.

"Meteors usually just flash across the sky and leave a tail.

"But UFOs will stay in the same spot and wobble up and down and side to side. Fast movements.

"That's how they work."

Do you believe in UFOs? - leave your comment below

Mr Ferguson said UFOs, like Swedish backpackers and Canberra politicians, nearly always came to the Top End during the dry season.

"It may be just that there are less clouds and we can see better," he said. "Or it maybe that we're outside more during the Dry.

"Or maybe the UFOs are interested in our military activity. There are always more of them about during (Operation) Pitch Black."

Superintendent Bruce Porter said police received many calls about the flares at about 9pm on Tuesday.

Police feared a boat was in distress and launched a search. "We took this seriously, but the indications are that nobody is missing," they said.

Just last month the NT News reported on how one Territory town's invasion by UFOs had been recorded in the world's most famous museum for extraterrestrial life.

The tiny community of Marlinja came to a standstill in June 2008 when UFOs reportedly descended on the town. Now the event has been recorded at the International UFO Museum in Roswell.

Roswell in New Mexico is home to arguably the most famous UFO incident of all time.

On July 8, 1947, it was reported that US Army personnel had recovered a crashed flying disc from a ranch near Roswell.

Supt Porter believes the flares were probably a meteor shower.

For those who don't believe the NT is being invaded by Martians, meteors are pieces of debris that burn up when entering the earth's atmosphere. If they hit the ground, they become meteorites.

* LAST month the NT News established the Gerrymeter scale to give Territory UFO sightings a credibility rating. The Gerrymeter was named in honour of the Territory's most powerful man, independent MLA Gerry Wood, who has seen UFOs flying over his electorate in Darwin's rural area.

THE GERRYMETER

5 Gerrys As credible as the Territory's most honest politician, Gerry Wood

4 Gerrys Definite alien potential. Time to break out your anti-abduction helmet

3 Gerrys Was it a shooting star? Or could it be something more sinister?

2 Gerrys No wonder your friends call you Alf

1 Gerry Is that a UFO I can see through the wacky weed haze?

However, since this latest mass sighting is being investigated by the NT Police, we believe it is off the Gerrymeter scale. The NT News is giving it 5 Gerrys + 1 McRoberts.

Anyone watching the Westall doco on the UFO sightings on Sci-Fi? It's on June 6 I believe

He was a man of specific quirks. He believed that all meals should be earned through physical effort. He also contended, zealously like a drunk with a political point, that the third dimension would not be possible if it werent for the existence of water.

A ring-shaped UFO appeared on yesterday May 30 over the Los Angeles sky. Sightings of this type over LA have been reported before in different places in Los Angeles. Most of the time in an UFO sighting, a light like a star, only bigger, doing the same dance above can be seen. Although it is difficult to say what the object might actually be.

A videographer shoots the video of the ring shaped object over the Los Angeles sky. He gave the viewer a long shot for perspective and estimates that the UFO is about five miles away, moving around over Redondo Beach or Manhattan Beach, “close to the airport. The videographer who captured the moment on his camera said, the UFO is higher than planes usually fly.

A UFO is technically an unidentified flying object, that flies and cannot initially be identified as an airplane, helicopter, blimp, balloon, kite, or any other object that normally flies, is a UFO. The term UFO is popularly taken as a synonym for alien spacecraft. The video of a ring-shaped UFO, which appeared on yesterday May 30 over the Los Angeles sky can be seen on various websites.

UFO 'seen zooming over eastern Australia'

11:00 AEST Sat Jun 5 2010

Scores of people across Australia's east coast say they saw bizarre yellow-green light zooming across the sky "like a lollipop swirl" early this morning.

It is not clear what the light was although there is speculation it may have been the Falcon 9 rocket which launched into space yesterday.

The light trail was seen between 5.45am and 6am by people in Canberra, Sydney's north shore and Queensland, ABC News reports.

Several ninemsn readers said they saw the mystery light.

"It was moving west to east with a jumbled electronic sound," Jim White said.

Hayley Farry said she and a group of friends saw the light while out jogging.

"It was really weird, like nothing else I had ever seen before," Ms Farry said.

"We were trying to guess what it may have been, we were convinced it certainly was not normal."

ABC Radio Brisbane 612 caller Linda said the light travelled from the west, headed east and then out to sea.

"There wasn't a cloud in the sky — just this light with a swirl in the middle," she said.

Another caller said there was no noise in the sky as the light passed over.

"It was like bands of ribbon coming out of it and it looked like it was coming through a cloud, yet there were no clouds," she said.

Canberra local James Butcher said the light had a bright centre that resembled a star.

"The colour was yellowish but this may have been blurred and tinted by the morning fog," Mr Butcher said.

The Falcon 9 rocket, which launched from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida yesterday, went into low-Earth orbit just nine minutes after blast off.

Nine News Sydney will have more on the mystery lights at 6pm tonight.

'First contact' claim as 'UFO and wormhole' spotted in Norway

* Staff writers
* From: news.com.au

UFO watchers around the world are buzzing after video footage emerged overnight of what they believe is the strongest proof yet that we are not alone in the universe.

Thousands of people bombarded Norway's Meteorological Institute with reports of a spiralling blue light that appeared in the sky above Trondelag around 8.45am local time.

The light has been described as a "giant blue catherine wheel" spiralling around a bright object and appeared at one stage to be anchored to the ground with a triangular blue beam.

The light then "exploded" into a ring of white fire, according to UK tabloid The Sun, prompting true believers on forums around the world to declare the moment "First Contact".

"It looked like a rocket that spun around and around - and then went diagonally across the heavens," Totto Eriksen, from Tromso in northern Norway, told The Sun.

"It looked like the moon was coming over the mountain - but then turned into something totally different."

As yet, no one has come forward to claim the phenomenon as a hoax, nor have scientists or military experts been able to explain the light show.

One theory is that it may have been a light show laser projected onto low clouds, but the dawn timing and large scale of the display makes it unlikely.

Stargate fans claim it's a UFO entering the Earth's atmosphere through a wormhole, and say it explains how UFOs seemingly appear and disappear at random in our skies.

One of the most popular conspiracy theories links the phenomenon to the Large Hadron Collider in Switzerland and rumours of a "Blackhole Project" under way at the giant underground atom-smasher.

Norwegian Space Centre chief Scientist Erik Tandberg told The Sun he agreed with many experts who believed it may have been a missile test from Russia, although Russia has quickly moved to deny any such testing.

"I agree with everyone in the science community that this light was the weirdest thing. I have never seen anything like this ever," he said.

"The spiral suggests the object came off course and balance and entered the spiral movement. Leaking rocket fuel could account for the blue light.

"But I know that the military have denied this explanation. So we could be looking at an entirely new natural phenomenon."

UFO mystery sighting on Central Coast

IS this an alien spacecraft or an American rocket that was mysteriously five days late showing up?

The truth - or even ET - may be out there, but for the moment it seems the Central Coast can’t be sure.

But we can say we played host to an unidentified flying object last week - days after other people along the eastern seaboard of Australialia reported similar sightings.

Sharon Smith was busy eating breakfast and packing lunches on Wednesday, June 9, when she looked out the window of her Wamberal home and saw something from out of this world.

“It was about 6.45am and it was a quiet morning, no breeze, no noise with the sun just coming up and I saw this bright white light,” Mrs Smith said.

“I called out to my son Daniel, who was sitting at the table eating breakfast and we both ran out on to the deck and watched this bright white light move about.

“It was there for about 10 minutes and it kept moving quite fast and then it would stop and then it would move again,” Mrs Smith said.

“It just kept climbing up and up and then it went behind the trees and we lost it.”

Both say they have never seen anything like it and while they aren’t big believers in beings in spaceships, the pair aren’t ruling out the possibility it was something from a galaxy far, far away.

“I think there has to be something else out there.

“All I know is that I have never seen anything like it before,” Mrs Smith said.

“It definitely wasn’t a plane or a helicopter and it didn’t have a tail, but I don’t know what it could have been,” Daniel said.

A vampire made me crash, Colorado woman tells police

* NewsCore
* From: NewsCore
* July 01, 2010

A WOMAN crashed her car into a Colorado canal - then told investigators she did it to escape a vampire.

And police do not believe drugs or alcohol were involved in Sunday night's incident near Fruita.

The woman said she was so horrified when she saw the undead creature in the middle of a dirt road that she threw her four-wheel-drive vehicle into reverse - and ended up in the canal.

She was not hurt and was rescued by her husband, who went to the scene and took her home.

"The vampire, which was not seen by anyone else, apparently let her get away," KDVR reported.
