we give back to our community So instead of giving away free tickets you're making them pay $20 to get a ticket when they can just rock up at the gates and get one for $12.  So now Olympic is into ripping people off aswell.

Good to see the organisers of the Greek festival caring for Olympic but they are giving out free tickets to olympic's next home game. Come to think of it in solympics world wouldn't that make them just as bad as every a-league club who according to him give out massive amounts of free tickets. Irony and contradiction at it's finest

The Greek Festival of Sydney is one of Australia's largest and longest running multicultural events and is the most attended Greek-Australian community event in NSW. The 28th annual Greek Festival of Sydney officially launches on the foreshores of Darling Harbour with a two day celebration on the 20-21 March 2010 and will run for just over a month.
From 3pm on Saturday 20 March, the Greek Festival of Sydney will feature contemporary youth music acts, including local and international performers as well as dancing by many Greek dancing groups, children’s activities, musical performances, special guests and mouth watering Greek delicacies.
From 10am on Sunday 21 March, the Greek community of Sydney will celebrate Greek Independence Day with a parade through Darling Harbour from Pyrmont Bridge to Tumbalong Park, followed by a full day of traditional and contemporary Greek entertainment.
The Greek Festival of Sydney will be a celebration of Greek culture, entertainment, food and festivities and will feature over 30 events on this year’s program showcasing a long line-up of both international and local acts. Events include traditional dancing, theatrical performances, musical performances, lectures, film screenings and street fairs.
With expected crowds of well over 200,000, the Greek Festival of Sydney is one of Australia’s premier cultural events promoting Hellenic culture through the arts, history, entertainment and food.
Invite your friends and family. Hope to see you there :)

Olympic is very very well supportted.
Greek festival on saturday and sunday at darling harbour will have over 30000 people their and easy 2000 memberships will be sold
you wana buy one champ 1. I Don't live in Newcastle, I live in Western Sydney where I work. 2. Incest Joke and unemployed Joke wrapped in to one, how witty you are! (thats sarcasim by the way). 3. Many of your ACTUAL Olympic ultras are saying that due to the Greek Festival you are going to have a poor home crowd for this round so start making your excuses about how people do not travel in the NSWPL. 4. You will not sell 2,000 memberships. 5. year there are only 4 places to go in Newcastle, but thats becuase The Hunter is a very large place and most people don't live in the actual City of Newcastle.

Happy with the Crowds, no. But that is not the point of my comment. Sydney Olympic with all the advertising funding in the world are still not going to attract the crowds necessary to compete with the A-League.

we have a bigger crowd base than godl coast, north queensland, bris, sydney fc, central coast, newcastle and wellington before their 30,000 real crowds see if that lasts!!!
only victory and adelaide and perth are doing better than us!!!!!!!!!
imagine if we had media exposure can you imagine and if u tell me we dont belong in the a-league ur mad Last time I checked every single side in the A-League was doing better with crowds than Sydney Olympic. More than twice as well in fact.

imagine if we had media exposure can you imagine and if u tell me we dont belong in the a-league ur mad Now don't go making up stories. you 1st need to have a home attendance of 5,392 (gold Coast United) before you cvan claim a higher crowd base than any A-League team. Other averages include: NQ Fury 6,723 Bris Raor 8,650 SFC 12,987 CCM 7,430 Jets 6,358 Phoenix 8,965 So unless the NSWPL are in cohoots with the FFA to down play the attendances at Belmoore Oval i suggest you monitor offical crowd numbers which Olympics currently sit at 1586 for to home games.

With the average crowd after round two at 1586 (not including the secret under 16 that get in for free) times that by 9 you get a total of: 14274
Depending on whether they improve or not will of course decide whether they will have an increase in spectators. Without taking in to acount the finals i would guess at Sydney Olympic getting 22500 over the season. Which is more than Blacktown or Rockdale are going to attract.

Well seeing as they will only play 22 games this season on account of them not making the finals then no they won't get as many people over the course of the season as the GF will get this weekend.
