That didn't answer the question.
If he is good enough will he choose to play for Australia or Greece?

Even then if they only want him in their reserve team aint that great TBH. I'd rather him breakthrough in the A-League here if he's that good then go overseas. SC58 you're always to critical.
Being a 17 year old in the reserve team in one of Balkans biggest Club is a good effort. It can only lead to bigger and better things.
Even if he ends up playing in the B Division of Greece and making 1500Euro's a week isn't to bad either. But if he is lead and coached properly, he has a good chance of making it to a First Division League in Europe.

Ok guys, stop saying he's going overseas. He's on loan at Sydney Olympic haha, he can't force his way into a starting line up at Sydney, I mean, has he even made a league appearance for Sydney?
I hope he has a bright future, but cmon guys, be realistic. If he was half as good as you are all pretending he is, he'd have made his debut in a league cup, or even a league in one of the big leagues.
One of the worst things that can be done to a young player is to over hype them, and sorry guys, but you're all going a bit overboard even considering it.

Just relax there, I'm just going by what word has been going around. As I have said earlier I don't have any solid evidence of it.

So we can some up this thread like so:
- Some young Greek kid signs with Olympic - None of the Olympic fans have actually ever seen him play but have heard rumours that he is the next Maradona. These rumours seem to have come from other Olympic fans who have not seen him play
Wow. He's going to be massive

solympic wrote:everyone has seen him play hes a gun stop getting jealous He's played NYL FFS. That's a kiddy comp with a few pensioners chucked in who aren't good enough. It's a joke of a competition and hardly any kind of indicator of success. If this kid is so good why isn't he called up for any Joey's or Young Socceroo's squads.

solympic wrote:everyone has seen him play hes a gun stop getting jealous For FC's youth side? I read quite a few of their match reports and I dont remember him ever being singled out. Dont even remember his name on the team sheet FFS. I've got nothing to be jealous about. We currently have teenagers playing and doing well for our first team while we continue to churn out quality youngsters. One of our products recently got shipped off to Turkey for 800k. Yawn... Stick to bragging about your 2 NSL titles. Leave the talent production to the experts
